Мне кажется первый абзац относится к обычному Ф9 (не кузнечику). Для него сейчас на сайте пишут 4,8т, но возможно к 2016 они расчитывают на покращення.

Следующий слух, сегодня днем по местному времени, может пройти 10 сек. тест первой ступени F9 v.1.1

Сегодня днем, возможно, что то произойдет. Но теперь для громкого теста, SpaceX не нужно сообщать общественности о нем, днем он может делать это в любой день.

Тестируют в МакГрегоре каждую изготовленную ступень. Как показывает опыт, тест может переноситься несколько раз. При темпе 5 пусков в год, стоит ли сообщать скажем 50 раз в год о слухе о возможном тесте?

Интрига в том, что это первый тест новой первой ступени.
И от того когда и как он пройдёт зависят даты последующих  пяти пусков. Или не пяти.

Уже зажигали 9 движков, на секунду или около? Фото же пробегало?

Но вообще, если ОСИ новой ступени занимает не полтора месяца, а два с половиной - это всё равно весьма круто.

Давайте дождёмся ОСИ, а потом будем сравнивать и меряться крутизной.

Whatever the reported test was, SpaceX hasn't put out a press release describing, for example, a successful qualification test.  Simultaneously, there haven't been reports of any nasty failures.  This is all consistent with challenges presented by pushing brand new stage designs through qualification.

A successful OrB-D mission will allow Orbital to press ahead to the first CRS flight, known as OrB-1, with Cygnus aiming to return to the ISS at the end of the year.

However, ongoing discussions are taking place relating to a potential conflict with the next SpaceX Dragon, which has already slipped into December. CRS-3/SpX-3 is facing delays due to what sources claim are "numerous problems" with the new Falcon 9 V1.1 launch vehicle, which is due to launch two payloads before it sends Dragon to the Station.

With CRS-3 slipping, one of the CRS missions will have to move to change its docked period to Node-2 Nadir between January 26 to February 25, 2014, L2 sources claim. Providing Orbital's OrB-D mission proceeds as planned, allowing for a December launch of OrB-1, along with what may be additional slips to CRS-3, it is likely Dragon will have to move to the 2014 slot.

New word on SpaceX testing

Email today from SpaceX communications director Christina Ra:
"We've switched gears a bit here. SpaceX is planning to run a test at our rocket development facility in McGregor that will be much louder than the typical tests we run daily, and this test could run from 30-seconds in duration to up to several minutes. This test could occur as early as Friday, May 31st. Given that the test could run for several minutes, it's important that the community know this is coming. If not Friday, in the near future.

 Thank you for sticking with it for these past few weeks. I'll circle back when I have further information."

The original plan was to start with a 10-second test, then run a 3-minute test a few days later — that being the amount of time the first stage burns during a Falcon 9 launch. So I asked for clarification on "several minutes," and also about the delay. The response:

 "If the test does run for several minutes, it probably won't be more than three. There's nothing that I can share about the delay -- it's important to note that SpaceX does testing all the time, often daily. Shifting schedules are not outside the norm."
