Old battery 0096 now removed from slot 3;i it's going to be moved a short distance to slot 2 and placed on top of the adapter plate

There isn't enough room on EP8 to dispose of all the old batteries. So some of them stay on ISS, but are stashed on top of the adapter plates.

Battery 0096 now on adapter plate A (possibly S/N 09) in slot 2 of the 2B IEA, at 1616 UTC.

US EVA-56: The newly installed li-ion battery has now been connected to the newly installed adapter plate, electrically connecting the battery to the P6 IEA; this battery and the adapter plate replace 2 of the older nickel-hydrogen batteries
