High over Canada, the #Vega AVUM has shut down on schedule after boosting #Aeolus on a path towards apogee. Flight #VV12 will now coast for ~30 minutes, over the Arctic and down towards Australia before igniting the upper stage for a 2nd time

#VV12 Some things I haven't been able to find out: where does Z9 splash down? Where is AVUM deorbited? What are AVUM's initial orbit parameters after first burn? @Arianespace @esaoperations
