ПАРИЖ, 2 октября. /ТАСС/. Европейское космическое агентство (ЕКА) сообщило, что рассчитывает возобновить запуски новой ракеты-носителя Vega-C не раньше 2024 года после дополнительных тестов двигателя Zefiro40 второй ступени.

"После неудачного запуска ракеты Vega-C (VV22) в декабре 2022 года независимая комиссия по расследованию сделала ряд выводов и дала рекомендации по обеспечению надежного возвращения в полет и надежной эксплуатации. <...> Ожидается, что Vega-C, в которой будут внесены изменения в конструкцию сопла Zefiro40 и проведены технические обзоры, а также два огневых испытания, вернется в полет в четвертом квартале 2024 года", - говорится в заявлении агентства.

Согласно выводам независимой комиссии, причиной аварии, произошедшей в конце 2022 года, стало повреждение горловины сопла. В компании отметили, что эта деталь "была закуплена итальянской компанией Avio на Украине". В ходе огневого испытания с использованием сопла из нового материала, проведенного 28 июня 2023 года на стенде в Сальто-ди-Квирра в Италии, сопло двигателя получило сильные повреждения. После этого эксперты пришли к выводу, что проблема заключается в геометрии углерод-углеродной вставки сопла и термомеханических свойствах нового материала. Впереди ожидается проведение новых испытаний модифицированного двигателя Zefiro40.

В мае 2023 года сообщалось, что компания-оператор космических запусков Arianespace запустит в декабре 2024 года ракету Vega-C c южнокорейским спутником Kompsat-6 на борту. В будущем ЕКА планирует осуществлять по 4-5 запусков с использованием этих ракет ежегодно.

При этом гендиректор ЕКА Йозеф Ашбахер сообщил на брифинге после публикации коммюнике, что миссия VV23, запланированная на 6 октября 2023 года с космодрома Куру во Французской Гвиане (в ночь на 7 октября по московскому времени), не отменяется, поскольку в ней будет использована ракета Vega предыдущего поколения. Она выведет на орбиту таиландский спутник для наблюдения за поверхностью Земли Theos-2 и метеорологический спутник Formosat-7R/Triton Тайваньского космического агентства (TASA). Кроме того, в начале 2024 года планируется еще одна миссия с использованием ракеты Vega.

Due to a measurement slightly above its maximum threshold during the final countdown, the VV23 launch sequence has been interrupted.
Additional checking is being conducted to confirm a new launch attempt on Saturday, October 7 at 10.36 p.m. (local time in Kourou – 01.36 a.m. on October 8 UTC).
The launcher and its satellites, THEOS-2, FORMOSAT-7R/TRITON and the auxiliary payload are in stable and safe conditions.

Europe's Vega rocket is back in action tonight, launching from French Guiana at 9:36pm EDT (0136 UTC) with 12 satellites heading for polar orbit.

This is the second to last flight of the base version of Vega, while the upgraded Vega-C will be grounded until late 2024.

Still whispers, but it looks like Sentinel-1C, which is currently scheduled to be launched aboard Vega C in 2024, will be launched aboard Falcon 9. It will likely first be announced that it will be launched aboard the Vega C return to flight mission. However, not only will Vega C likely not make the late 2024 deadline but it's also considered unlikely that it will have the performance on the return to flight mission for S1C, as it's at the high end of the vehicle's performance envelope. Ariane 6 officially has a launch period! The 1st flight is targeted between June 15 and July 31! The rocket will fly in the 62 config and carry multiple small satellites manifested by ESA. A more exact launchdate will be announced in Spring 2024 once final testing is complete.

During the briefing they also announced the payload for the 2nd flight of Ariane 6, which is targeted for Late-2024. On board will be the CSO-3 reconnaissance satellite for the French military. Ariane 6 will also be flying in the 62 configuration for that launch.

Испанская компания PLD Space представила новые рендеры своей первой ракеты орбитального класса Miura 5
Первый запуск планируется в 2026 году. Позже компания хочет внедрить многоразовое использование первой ступени, по аналогии с Rocket Lab, спасая её с помощью парашюта, а потом вылавливая из воды.

While Miura1 launched in October 2023, the contract was signed recently, aiming for the first flight of Miura 5 in 2025, launching from Europe's Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana.

Miura 5 is a small launch vehicle with a payload of up to 540 kilograms to low Earth orbit. The vehicle's first stage is designed to be recovered through ocean splashdown and reused. Test flights are scheduled to begin as soon as 2025 from a launch site in French Guiana.
