По макету трудно судить.

Дык нет ни одного человека ростом меньше чем диаметр ступени. Правда непонятно насколько велика разница в расстоянии.

Пишут, что рулевым двигателем тягой 15 тс. Сопел правда не видно. Но на модели могли проигнорировать.

Iran to launch new satellites before March 2011: minister

Telecommunication Minister Reza Taghipour said on Monday that Iran will launch new satellites capable of transmitting data and images by March next year, official media said.

"The satellites, which will be sent into space this (Iranian) year (which runs to March 2011), have telecommunication and filming capability," Taghipour said on a visit to Moscow, the state television website said.

"These are Iranian-made and are currently undergoing tests... and, once approved, they will be sent into space."

He said the launch would take place once the "launcher, the ground station and the guidance system are ready."

In February, Iran revealed details of three new satellite prototypes -- the Toloo (Dawn), Navid (Good News) and Mesbah-2 (Lantern), the last said to be a telecommunications satellite.

In February last year, Iran launched its first home-built satellite, the Omid (Hope), to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the 1979 Islamic revolution.

Iran Ready to Send 6 Satellites into Space in Future

TEHRAN (FNA)- Tehran is preparing the ground for designing and launching six satellites into space in the future, Iranian Telecommunications Minister Reza Taqipour said on Friday.

"We are currently carrying out a project which will see the design, production and launch of 5 to 6 satellites," the Iranian telecommunications minister said. "We hope to send one satellite into space in the first half of the coming year."

"Iran has laid the foundation for the development of its aerospace industry in the past three to four years," Taqipour told FNA, describing the launch of a home-produced satellite, named Omid (Hope), in February 2009 as one such achievement.

The Omid data-processing satellite was launched into orbit allowing it to encircle the Earth 15 times per day. It transmits data via two frequency bands utilizing eight antennas to an Iranian space station.

Taqipour also said that the country has no shortcomings in its domestic space program as Iranian scientists have managed to gain a firm grasp of satellite-related technology.

Taqipour also touched on the country's efforts to broaden technical and practical expertise in launching satellites from domestic launch pads.

"We now have only one launch pad in the country, so as you can imagine there are some limitations in that area," he noted.

"However, we plan to build more launch pads and have even specified suitable locations in the country [from which] to send satellites into space," he added.

After launching Omid, Tehran has unveiled three new satellites and a satellite carrier, Tolou, Mesbah II and Navid respectively.

Iran is one of the 24 founding members of the United Nations' Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UNCOPUOS), which was set up in 1959.

Iran to launch two new telecom satellites

TEHRAN, May 23 (Xinhua) -- An Iranian space official said Sunday that Iran will launch two new telecommunication satellites in the orbit by next March, the semi-official Fars news agency reported.

"These two satellites which will be tasked with taking photos and sending them to the earth will be sent to low Earth orbit," said head of Iran's Space Agency Mohammed Ali Forghani.

The satellites, a joint production of the Space Agency and Iranian universities, will be launched by home-made satellite carriers, Forghani said according to the report.

In February, Iran successfully test-fired a satellite rocket and unveiled three new satellites and a satellite carrier.

The "Kavosh 3" (Explore 3) rocket carrying an "experimental capsule" has been successfully test-fired and will transfer telemetric data, live pictures and flight and environmental analysis data.

Iran, Russia agree to launch two satellites[/size]

TEHRAN - Iran and Russia have agreed to cooperate to launch two satellites.

The agreement came during a meeting between Iranian Communications and Information Technology Minister Reza Taqipour and Russian Communications and Mass Media Minister Igor Olegovich Shchegolev in Russia last week.

According to the agreement, the launch of a remote sensing satellite and a telecommunications satellite has been placed on the Iranian communications ministry's agenda for the current Iranian calendar year (began March 21), Mohammad Hosseinpour, an advisor to the communications minister, told the Mehr News Agency on Monday.

Hosseinpour said the two countries also agreed to construct fiberoptic telecommunications systems under the Caspian Sea in order to expand the communications links between the two nations.

He pointed to the high communications traffic in the region, saying that the establishment of fiberoptic systems could make communications more economical.

However, further negotiations between Caspian Sea littoral states will be necessary before the plan can be implemented, he added.

He went on to say that Iran is ready to help reduce telecommunications traffic between Russia and Europe.

Hosseinpour said Moscow is interested in expanding ties with Tehran in the field of information technology and communications because Russian officials believe that cooperation between the two countries in this area will increase in the future and Russia should make efforts to meet its need for strong telecommunications links.

Taqipour traveled to Russia last week upon the invitation of the Russian communications minister
