Dragon has arrived at the capture point 10 meters, or 32 feet, beneath the space station and within the reach of the 58-foot robotic arm.

The @Space #Dragon is retreating to its 30 meter hold point as mission controllers work to fix a satellite communication issue. Dragon capture will be delayed.

NASA mission control in Houston expects to restore contact with the International Space Station around 6:50am EST (1150 GMT) as teams work around a satellite communications problem. No issues reported with the Dragon cargo craft or the space station.

Loop said ground station issue. NASA tweeting satellite issue. So bets are a TDRS satellite is throwing a fit. Good news is they have several, so likely going to hold and use a different one for capture.

Issue is resolved. Will depart 30 meter hold point shortly to return to 10 meter capture point.

The Dragon supply ship has started moving toward the space station again, heading for the 10-meter (32-foot) hold point for capture by the robotic arm.

With the space station and Dragon spacecraft now flying in a night pass over the East China Sea, mission control has given the "go" for Alexander Gerst and Serena Auñón-Chancellor to begin preparations to grapple the cargo capsule with the robotic arm.
