Laser navigation sensors and thermal cameras aboard the Dragon capsule are collecting data on the range, closure rate and orientation between the supply ship and the space station, feeding the information to its on-board computer governing the final approach.

Dragon is heading for a final hold point around 10 meters, or 32 feet, fr om the station, wh ere it will be captured by the Canadian-built robotic arm.
