Polyus Image?

I have been told that there is a diagram of Polyus (Skif-DM) "floating around" which differs from the popular one ...

  I have been told that this mysterious image shows the layout of the equiptment to be different. Has anyone else seen anything like this?

Приведенная Вами картинка была опубликована в журнале "Земля и Вселенная" 4/92, Ю.П.Корнилов, "Неизвестный "Полюс". На стр.18 фото: автор статьи сидит за столом на фоне огромной картины с изображением "Полюса" на орбите. Виден кое-какой equiptment.
Два примечательных факта:
 - "Полюс" имеет активный стыковочный узел (sic!);
 - вдали просматривается нечто, весьма похожее на "Союз-Т".

Но эта тема, по-видимому, еще закрыта для публики.

Yes, I have seen same this picture in Jim Oberg's "Star Crossed Orbits" book. It make me wonder if the Polyus was intended to dock at some point with the Mir station. I think, however, that the orbital inclination of the two where different, but I could be wrong.

There is another question I have concerning the Polyus Skif-DM... The front was a modified TKS but what was used as a basis for the "body" of the Polyus? was this the shell of a Zenit RN ?
