Mission Details
SXM-10 is the 11th high-powered, digital, audio radio satellite built by Maxar (SSL) for SiriusXM. The SXM-10 satellite will be based on Maxar's proven 1300-class platform and built at the company's manufacturing facility in Palo Alto, California. SXM-10 has a large, mesh, unfurlable reflector almost 10 meters in diameter that allows SiriusXM programming to reach its radios, including those in moving vehicles.

SpaceX is targeting Friday, June 6 for a Falcon 9 launch of the SiriusXM SXM-10 mission to geosynchronous transfer orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The four-hour window opens at 11:19 p.m. ET. If needed, a backup launch opportunity is available on Saturday, June 7 during a four-hour window that opens at the same time.

A live webcast of this mission will begin about 15 minutes prior to liftoff, which you can watch here and on X @SpaceX. You can also watch the webcast on the new X TV app.

This will be the eighth flight for the Falcon 9 first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched Crew-9, RRT-1, Firefly Blue Ghost Mission 1, Fram2, and three Starlink missions. After stage separation, the first stage will land on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean...

Falcon 9 1st stage B1085-8 is vertical at SLC-40 ahead of launch later tonight at 03:19 UTC with SiriusXM's SXM-10 radio broadcasting satellite. Hazard area's indicate SpaceX is planning on deorbiting the 2nd stage on this mission, which would be their 1st time for a GTO launch.
