About 300 45th Space Wing personnel on-hand for Delta IV Heavy on Thursday; manual flight termination requires more folks. Falcon 9's automated termination system for Friday and Saturday launches means under 200 will be needed.

SpaceX Fleet Update!

Starlink: OCISLY droneship and GO Quest are heading ~633 km downrange to the booster LZ.

SAOCOM 1B: Ms. Tree and Ms. Chief have arrived at the fairing recovery zone. In a straight line, they are ~525 km downrange from the launch pad.

37 мин. назад

Ms. Tree and Ms. Chief are expected to take part in the Starlink mission too. Expect to see them offload their catch from the SAOCOM 1B mission at Cape Canaveral and then head to the Starlink LZ.

Fleet Update: After being at dead stop in the #SAOCOM1B fairing catch zone it appears the sisters did an about face to head north. It is possible we could see a shuffle of the SpaceX launch cadence this weekend. Are they heading to the #Starlink LZ instead? #SpaceXFleet

Cape Canaveral is spewing out rockets in all directions these few days (Navigational Warnings: for Starlink-11 towards NE; NROL-44 towards E; SAOCOM 1B towards S):

While GO Ms. Tree continues to the #Starlink LZ, it appears GO Ms. Chief may have stayed at the southern #SAOCOM1B landing zone after all. Last ping was almost 23:00 ET last night, well after Mystery left. A double header recovery weekend is looking promising. #SpaceXFleet

SpaceX could launch two missions just nine hours apart Sunday from different pads on Florida's Space Coast.

But weather Sunday could be iffy, and the schedule hinges on the launch of a Delta 4-Heavy rocket from a nearby pad early Saturday.

2 ч. назад

Weather permitting, here's the launch rundown at Cape Canaveral:

• Delta 4-Heavy / NROL-44 from pad 37B at 2:04am EDT Saturday

• Falcon 9 / Starlink from pad 39A at 10:08am EDT Sunday

• Falcon 9 / SAOCOM 1B from pad 40 at 7:18pm EDT Sunday

Ms. Tree and Ms. Chief have split up!

Ms. Tree has departed from the SAOCOM 1B LZ towards the Starlink LZ.

This means that there will be one catcher per mission, as SpaceX tentatively plans to launch the two missions just 9 hours apart.

2 ч. назад

Each ship can carry both fairing halves but can only attempt to catch one and then hopefully scoop the other from the water.

SpaceX experimented with two halves on one ship a few weeks ago:

Here's the full recovery fleet update:

OCISLY droneship and GO Quest have arrived at the Starlink LZ. Ms. Tree will be arriving later today.

Ms. Chief is still at the SAOCOM-1B recovery zone for now. That mission will face further delay because of a range conflict with NROL-44.
