Mission Overview

'The Mountain God Guards' is the fourth launch on Electron for multi-launch customer, Institute for Q-shu Pioneers of Space, Inc. (iQPS), a Japan-based Earth imaging company.

The mission will launch a single synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging satellite called QPS-SAR-11 (nicknamed YAMATSUMI-I for the Japanese god of mountains) to a 575km circular Earth orbit, from where the satellite will join the rest of the iQPS constellation in providing high resolution images and Earth monitoring services globally.

Overall, Rocket Lab has deployed three Electron missions for iQPS with 100% mission success: 'The Lightning God Reigns' and 'The Sea God Sees', were successfully deployed to space by Electron earlier this year as the first two missions of an eight-launch contract across 2025 and 2026 for iQPS; while a third launch, 'The Moon God Awakens,' was successfully launched in December 2023.

'The Mountain God Guards' will be Rocket Lab's eighth mission of 2025, its 66th Electron launch overall, and will bring the total number of satellites delivered to space by Electron to 227.

'Symphony In The Stars' is the first of two dedicated missions on Electron to deploy a single spacecraft to a 650km circular Earth orbit for a confidential commercial customer.
A second dedicated launch on Electron to meet those same mission requirements is scheduled for launch before the end of 2025.
These dedicated Electron launches demonstrate both the strength of Rocket Lab's responsive launch capabilities and its increasing launch cadence as the global leader in dedicated small launch. With demand for 20+ launches in 2025 and 100% mission success for all Electron launches this year, Electron is continually sought after by satellite operators across commercial, civil, and government missions, and remains on track for another record year of launches from Rocket Lab's Launch Complex 1 and Launch Complex 2 orbital launch sites in Mahia, New Zealand and Wallops Island, Virginia.

Mission Name: Get The Hawk Outta Here
Rocket: Electron
Launch Date: 26 June 2025
Launch Site: Launch Complex 1
Launch Time: 17:00 UTC
Payload: 3 satellites and 1 experimental satellite
Mission Overview
'Get The Hawk Outta Here' is scheduled to launch from Rocket Lab Launch Complex 1 for customer HawkEye 360, a radio frequency geospatial analytics provider based in Virginia.
The mission will deploy four satellites for HawkEye 360: a trio of microsats to collect and geolocate radio frequency signals from around the world, and Kestrel-0A, an experimental satellite designed to evaluate emerging capabilities and future technology enhancements. The three satellites comprising HawkEye 360's Cluster 12 will operate in a dawn-to-dusk polar orbit — filling a critical coverage gap and enhancing the company's ability to extract RF intelligence in regions of strategic interest.
'Get The Hawk Outta Here' is the second of three missions on Electron in a multi-launch contract to build out HawkEye 360's constellation. The first mission in January 2023, 'Virginia Is For Launch Lovers,' deployed HawkEye's Cluster 6 satellites to orbit on Electron's inaugural launch from Rocket Lab Launch Complex 2 in Virginia.
All of HawkEye 360's satellites launching on Electron are deployed from Rocket Lab's own Lightband satellite separation system.

ЦитироватьLong Beach, California. June 25, 2025 – Rocket Lab Corporation (Nasdaq: RKLB) ("Rocket Lab" or the "Company"), a global leader in launch services and space systems, today announced it has been selected to launch a dedicated Electron mission for the European Space Agency ("ESA") for the first time, to deploy the first pair of satellites for a future navigation constellation for Europe, LEO-PNT.
Rocket Lab will launch two "Pathfinder A" spacecraft for ESA, provided by European satellite prime contractors Thales Alenia Space and GMV, from Rocket Lab Launch Complex 1 no earlier than December 2025.

The spacecraft will be deployed to a 510km low Earth orbit as part of a mission to test a new approach of providing location, direction, and timing services from satellites in low orbit – otherwise called LEO-PNT (Low Earth Orbit Positioning, Navigation, and Timing). ESA's LEO-PNT demonstration mission will assess how a low Earth orbit fleet of satellites can work in combination with the Galileo and EGNOS constellations in higher orbits that provide Europe's own global navigation system.
Rocket Lab founder and CEO, Sir Peter Beck, says: "Launching a European mission on Electron that is integral to the future of Europe's satellite navigation system is both an honor and a testament to our industry-leading launch service. An important constellation like LEO-PNT needs a strong foundation to grow from, and with Electron's track record of precise orbital deployment, we're excited to help secure the future of LEO-PNT for Europe with our launch of these first two satellites in the constellation."..
