SpaceX's live coverage of today's launch will be different than normal. The company's webcast coverage of the ascent portion of the flight will end around 3 minutes after liftoff, once the Falcon 9's payload fairing is jettisoned, at the request of the mission's U.S. government customer.

Live video of the first stage's descent and landing will continue, with touchdown se t for T+plus 7 minutes, 56 seconds, at Landing Zone 1 at nearby Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
