The countdown clock resumed at Minus-7 minutes as expected after the launch director declared conditions were "green" following the hold. But the launch pad systems are now observed "red" and the countdown halted at Minus-6 minutes, 59 seconds.

Officials report the delays in today's countdown occurred at the very start of the countdown this morning. Countdown procedures, including fueling of the Ariane 5 with liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen, have been progressing throughput the day in a bid to make up for the lost time.
