Мне сказали, что в середине июля в Лонг-Биче начнутся испытания ракеты-носителя и разгонного блока. Пуск планируется в период с 1 по 15 сентября.

BERN, Switzerland, May 31, 2011 – Sea Launch has resumed shipments of Zenit-3SL hardware in preparation for its return to launch operations in the third quarter of 2011. The two-stage Zenit-2S booster, manufactured by PO Yuzhmash of Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine and the Block-DM-SL manufactured by OAO Rocket and Space Corporation Energia of Moscow, Russian Federation departed the Port of Oktyabrsky on May 31, 2011 for transit to Sea Launch Home Port facilities in Long Beach, California where launch vehicle integration and combined operations take place.

Production oversight for the Zenit-3SL vehicle is carried out by Energia Logistics, with facilities in Moscow ("ELRF") and Long Beach, California ("ELUS"). Energia Logistics' responsibilities focus on closely monitoring hardware production schedules with regular visits to contractor and subcontractor facilities alongside Sea Launch customers to verify and assure on-time delivery and performance.

"Sea Launch has ten Zenit-3SL's on order, covering requirements for missions # 31 through # 40 which will satisfy existing and future customer requirements for launches through the end of 2013" said Kjell Karlsen, President of Sea Launch. Eutelsat Communications announced in May 2009 that it has selected Astrium to deliver its new Atlantic Bird 7 satellite for 7 degrees West. Scheduled for launch in 4th quarter 2011, the satellite will be located at a key neighbourhood for digital broadcasting markets in the Middle East and North Africa, which Eutelsat operates in close collaboration with the Egyptian satellite operator Nilesat. The launch vehicle will be selected by Eutelsat at a later stage.

Following the launch and entry into service of Atlantic Bird 7 at 7 degrees West, Eutelsat will redeploy the Atlantic Bird 4A satellite currently at this position to the Group's premium broadcasting neighbourhood at 13 degrees East, where it will revert to its original name of Hot Bird 10. Eutelsat has been operating Atlantic Bird 4A at 7 degrees West since March 2009 as part of the first phase of boosting broadcasting capacity at this neighbourhood. Over 450 television channels already broadcast from 7 degrees West to an audience of 38 million homes.

By increasing the volume of Eutelsat's operational Ku-band transponders at 7 degrees West from 26 to up to 50, Atlantic Bird 7 will virtually double the Group's in-orbit resources at this position. This new capacity will be brought into operation alongside the Nilesat 101 and 102 satellites operated by Nilesat, which are scheduled to be joined in mid-2010 by Nilesat 201. Within the framework of this collaboration the two companies have agreed to jointly brand 7 degrees West as the "NILEBIRD" neighbourhood.

Atlantic Bird 7 will be based on Astrium's Eurostar E3000 platform. Optimised for high-growth broadcasting markets, two beams will give superior coverage across the Middle East, including Gulf states, as well as North Africa and North-West Africa. Up to 44 Ku-band transponders will be connected to a broad high-power footprint serving the Middle East and North Africa for Direct-to-Home (DTH) broadcasting. A second footprint for North-West Africa, across the Maghreb countries and extending down to the Gulf of Guinea, will be connected to a payload of up to 12 Ku-band transponders designed for consumer broadcasting services and equipped to meet high demand for Internet access services. August 4, 2011 – The spacecraft for the 31st Sea Launch mission has arrived in Long Beach, California and been transported to one of the dual payload processing/fueling areas within the Payload Processing Facility at the Sea Launch Home Port facility. There it will undergo standalone spacecraft processing before being handed over to Energia Logistics, Ltd. to be mated with the payload support structure and integrated with the Zenit-3SL launch vehicle before departure to the launch site in September.

The ATLANTIC BIRD™ 7 communications satellite departed from the Toulouse, France manufacturing facilities of Astrium, an EADS company and arrived at the Long Beach Airport (LGB) on-board an Antonov An-124 cargo aircraft yesterday.

Мне сказали, что вчера началась заправка разгонного блока "ДМ-SL", которая продлится три дня. После нее начнется сборка ракеты космического назначения "Зенит-3SL", ее испытания и транспортировка на платформу Odyssey.

Говорят, что отплытие платформы Odyssey планируется на 8-9 сентября. Пуск стоит на 22 сентября.

Стартовое окно объявлено: 23 сентября с 00:18 до 01:32 ЛМВ. Но говорят, что есть проблемы с СУ РБ. Повлияет это на дату запуска или нет, мне пока не известно.

Точные времена стартового окна: 00:17:55 - 01:32:00 ЛМВ. Первое, по-видимому, означает время ОТП, происходящее за 5 сек до КП.

Ракета на платформе и сейчас в вертикальном положении. А на сайте нет обновлений, раньше репортажи по перегрузке ракету с СКС на платформу делали и про вывоз спутника после завершения капсуляции...
