More action from Jiuquan: a Kuaizhou-1A lifted off at 0900 UTC today, successfully sending the VDES A and B satellites into orbit. This was China's 78th launch of the year.

Цзюцюань, 5 декабря /Синьхуа/ -- Китай в пятницу успешно запустил 2 спутника VDES /система обмена данными в УКВ- диапазоне/.

Запуск был произведен при помощи ракеты-носителя "Куайчжоу-1А" в 17:00 по пекинскому времени с космодрома Цзюцюань на северо-западе Китая. Космические аппараты успешно вышли на заданные орбиты.

JIUQUAN, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- China on Friday launched two new satellites from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China.
The VHF Data Exchange System (VDES) satellites were launched by a Kuaizhou-1A (KZ-1A) carrier rocket at 5 p.m. (Beijing Time) and entered their planned orbit successfully.

A Kuaizhou-1A (KZ-1A) launch vehicle launched two VHF Data Exchange System (VDES) satellites (VDES A星、B星/ VDES A & VDES B) from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, China, on 5 December 2025, at 09:00 UTC (17:00 local time). According to official sources, the experimental satellites entered their planned orbits successfully and  "will be mainly used for technical verification and communication tests of the VDES payload".
