Hmm...CASC reports that this year the LM-2C has "already performed launches from Jiuquan, Taiyuan & Xichang" & "has broken record for most launches in a year", yet there are only 5 orbital known so far in 2021 (vs 6 in 2018), 3 @ Xichang & 2 @ Jiuquan. Thinking face
.
...did I just wrote on a LM-2C launch yesterday @ Jiuquan & an unknown rocket (claimed LM-2C) launching unknown thingy @ Taiyuan tomorrow?

Great, because now there's an unknown rocket (claimed LM-2D) launching unknown thingy from...Xichang on Nov. 6 ~03:00 UTC! It's all happening!

KZ-1A s/n Y16 and Y17 were approved for shipping to JSLC this past week, maybe we will see both going up before the year ends? After all they have pulled a "2 launch in 6 hours from same base" act 2 years ago...

The above upgrade was officially reported by Galactic Energy a month ago.
They now announce that they planned 5 launches of Ceres-1 next year, plus getting their RP-1/LOX-to-be-reusable Pallas-1 (4t LEO/2t SSO) flying NET late 2022.

Китайская миссия будет использовать двухпусковую схему с ракетами Long March 3B и Long March 5 (Ранее планировалось использовать новую сверхтяжёлую ракету Long March 9). Long March 3B запустит посадочный модуль, а Long March 5 - орбитальный аппарат и возвращаемую капсулу...

And Then There Are (Another) Two Weirdos!
@Nextlaunch and I picked up air closure zones showing TWO more identical launches w/ who-know-what from Jiuquan to orbit w/t next *4* days, Dec. 13 ~02:00 & Dec. 15 ~02:20 UTC! Both have the same direction to a strange ~50 deg. orbit.
.
It started with 2 zones picked up NE of Australia in the Coral Sea that are noted for *2* Chinese aerospace activities. This is a strange place to drop Chinese rocket stages but more zones filed inside China confirmed such!
2 KZ-1As were apparently shipped to JSLC late Nov...

So CASIC got interviewed by state TV yesterday, they confirmed KZ-1A s/n Y16 & 17 will fly within December, increasing chances the 2 launches above are KZ-1As.

They also said "10+ launches planned in 1H 2022". @RocketLab @VirginOrbit @Astra @Firefly_Space where're your cadence?

After waiting for more than an hour, I checked and found fresh air space closure zone notices showing both launches slipping by 2 days - the one on today to Dec. 15 & the one on the 15th to Dec. 17, same window.

This leaves this one ~4 hours after Proton still on track...
