Насколько я помню, в книге Галкина И.Н. "Внеземная сейсмология", достаточно подробно описаны многие эксперименты на Луне. В свое время, эта книга была для меня открытием...

Придушили, т.е. необратимо выключили, обратимо выключили или перестали слушать? Батарейка там на 238 плутонии с полураспадом в 90 лет. Может поработает еще, если включить?

Early Apollo Surface Experiments Package = EASEP
It consisted of two solar panels to provide power (the EASEP could only operate during lunar day).

... but on 27 August 1969, near noon of this second lunar day, the EASEP no longer accepted commands from Earth stations and the experiment was terminated.

On APOLLO-12...17[/size]

Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments Package = ALSEP

The SNAP-27 model RTG produced the power to run the ALSEP operations.  The generator assembly had a total mass of 17 kg.
The power source was an approximately 4 kg fuel capsule in the shape of a long rod which contained plutonium-238 and was placed in the inner cylinder of the RTG by the astronauts on deployment. Plutonium-238 decays with a half-life of 89.6 years and produces heat.
This heat would conduct from the inner cylinder to the outer via the thermocouples which would convert the heat directly to electrical power. The RTG produced approximately 70 W DC at 16 V. (63.5 W after one year.)

The central stations were turned on 19 November 1969(A12) - 12 December 1972(A17) and shut down along with the other ALSEP stations on 30 September 1977.

Массы даны в моих ссылках (пост от 31, 2004 07:12 ), но в раздельном виде - для генератора отдельно, для центральной станции отдельно. Да и за точность нельзя поручиться. Фоток там нет.  :?
