HAIKOU, Dec. 29 (Xinhua) -- Construction work was completed Friday on the No. 1 launch pad of China's first commercial spacecraft launch site, in the city of Wenchang, on south China's island province of Hainan.
The project serves as the dedicated site for China's new-generation medium-sized rocket, Long March 8, according to Yang Tianliang, chairman of Hainan International Commercial Aerospace Launch Co., Ltd.
The construction of the No. 1 launch pad has introduced several advanced technologies for the first time, including a cone exhaust guide and extrusion water spray for cooling and noise reduction, said Yang.
Construction of the No. 1 launch pad started in July 2022, and the equipment-installation phase is almost complete.
The No. 2 launch pad is still at the construction phase, with the capping of the diversion trough's main body now finished. On-site equipment installation is due to be completed by the end of May 2024.

Тут все понятно, строится новый МИК восточнее двух существующих, от него просека на юг к существующему рельсовому пути для вывоза на площадки 101 и 201.

Второй снимок за 12.01.2024:

Западнее двух существующих МИКов стройка такого же размаха, как все остальное вместе взятое, а от нее на юг просека до места будущего третьего стартового комплекса. Осталось понять, это уже под CZ-9, или все-таки под CZ-10?

Странно, никто не заметил, что западнее 95-й площадки Цзюцюаня еще в сентябре 2023 года началось строительство, по-видимому, стартового комплекса. Вероятно, для расширения возможностей пусков твердотопливных ракет-носителей. При этом непонятно, чем не устроил стартовый комплекс восточнее 95-й площадки, откуда первые две «Куайчжоу-1» пускали.

На 2024 год запланировано четыре пуска с коммерческого Хайнаня: три с ПУ №1 (вертикальная сборка) и один с ПУ №2 (универсальная, горизонтальный вывоз). Очевидно, во втором случае ракеты не успевают к готовности старта :-)
Готовность к первому старту с ПУ №1 -- июнь 2024. Скорее всего, первой пойдет стандартная CZ-8, потому что модернизированную CZ-8G обещают на октябрь.
