Вот никак не пойму, может, что пропустил: и на CTV, и на CST-100 астронавты без скафандров. Это ошибка или сознательная позиция?

delegation confirmed its availability to provide funding
needed to complete the project, already solicited by the
other Participating States. Nevertheless a formal written
commitment depends on the authorisation for launch, to be
provided by the Russian Ministry of Defence. The contract for
the development of the Descent and Landing System was
signed by Thales Alenia Space Italy and SRC Makeyev. The
signed contract schedule ensured that sufficient development
margin is maintained for a launch in summer 2011.

For one thing, Roberto Provera, director of transportation systems and space exploration programs at
Thales Alenia Space says, Italian planners doubt the usefulness of embarking on the ARV before feedback is
available from Europe's new atmospheric reentry flight demonstrators—Expert and the Intermediate Experimental Vehicle (IXV).

Expert is to be orbited in mid-2011 by a Russian submarine-launched Volna rocket, but negotiations with
the Russian space forces have yet to be concluded, Provera says. The IXV is to fly in 2013 on Europe's
new Vega booster, but funding for the launch and flight demonstration also has not been nailed down,
he notes (AW&ST July 5, p. 40).

Вот чего я понять не могу, так это какими ушами они Expert-а к программе пилотируемых полетов притягивают.
Это же натуральная маневрирующая боеголовка, какая у неё может быть связь с разработкой СTV ?
Теплозащиту и управление на ARD и IXV отработают, остаток проблем по ним - в беспилотных пусках.
