After more than 5 hours and 2 minutes outside the International @Space_Station today, @astro_luca now officially holds the European record for the longest cumulative spacewalking time. Congratulations Luca!

This record was previously held by Swedish ESA astronaut @CFuglesang who spent a total of 31 hours and 54 minutes outside over the course of five spacewalks from 2006 to 2009.

US EVA-65: Morgan has been asked to move slowly and take his time to limit the strain on his spacesuit's carbon dioxide (METOX) removal system; given the choice of staying near the airlock or helping Parmitano with camera filter removals, Morgan opted to proceed with the work
