There's @BigelowSpace's BEAM still happily residing on the ISS, as seen right now via Drew Feustel's helmetcam.

.@Astro_Feustel finished the antenna installation at Node 3 and is back at the airlock, dropping off a bag. @astro_ricky demated the first fluid QD as he continues his task at the Radiator Beam Valve Module. http://spaceflight101.com/iss/live-spacewalk-coverage/ ...

Shuffling the EVA task list. @Astro_Feustel completed a video inspection of a Pump Flow Control Subassembly that will be moved during EVA-50 and he'll now relocate an unused ammonia jumper from inside the S0 truss over to External Stowage Platform 1.

.@astro_ricky successfully collected the two ammonia flex hose jumpers and @Astro_Kanai & @Astro_Maker are backing up the arm to bring him away from the thermal radiator. His next stop is Camera Port 8 on the zenith face of the P1 truss.

Big picture words from Mission Control: MetOx (CO2 scrubbers) are the limiting factor for today's EVA, good until at PET of five hours and 50 minutes. Currently assessing whether the camera replacement task will fit into the remaining timeline.

USEVA49: 3 hours into today's spacewalk, Feustel and Arnold have completed installation of wireless antennas and removal of 2 ammonia hoses; managers now assessing whether to press ahead with camera swap out or instead to carry out other get-ahead tasks.

EVA restricted due to consumables. Probably won't reach six hours in duration. Possible incompleted task will be related to the camera group, but it's not a critical task.

USEVA49: CO2 absorbent will limit spacewalk to about 6 hours

Big picture is to do a partial/most of the tasks on the camera group.

Given the limited time left for EVA-49, Mission Control is changing the ETVCG (External TV Camera Group) replacement task. The spacewalkers will remove the entire CP8 camera as it is and replace it with the spare CLPA, not transitioning the HD cam between the two.

3 мин. назад

The plan was for the HD Camera to be removed from the degraded CLPA (Camera, Light, Pan/Til Assembly), then replace the CLPA with a spare and finally attach the HD Camera to the functional unit. For operational use, SD vision will do just fine.

Handoff complete - after removing the degraded External TV Camera Group, @astro_ricky handed it off to @Astro_Feustel and received a spare unit that will now be installed at Camera Port 8. http://spaceflight101.com/iss/live-spacewalk-coverage/ ... ...

Passing the four-hour mark into the EVA, Mission Control decided to go for the HD Camera swap after all. @Astro_Feustel will remove the HD Camera from the degraded CLPA in the airlock and bring it over to @astro_ricky for installation. http://spaceflight101.com/iss/live-spacewalk-coverage/ ...
