Atlas V to launch Amazon Leo 8
ULA's Atlas V rocket will deliver another batch of satellites for Amazon Leo, Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite constellation. Amazon Leo's network is designed to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. The initial Amazon constellation will include more than 3,000 satellites working together in coordinated orbits around Earth.

United Launch Alliance has initiated the countdown for launch of our Atlas V 551 rocket to advance the Amazon Leo broadband constellation.
Today, we are conducting a continuous roll-and-launch countdown over the next 17 hours that we see Atlas V moved to the pad, all the necessary testing completed, propellant loaded and launching the mission.
This is part of ULA's efforts to increase launch day efficiency and maximize launch opportunities while continuing our commitment to Amazon Leo. It increases launch cadence by reducing the amount of time that the rocket spends at the pad.

The Atlas V countdown is continuing to launch the Amazon Leo 8 broadband satellite mission to low Earth orbit at 12:24 a.m. EDT (0424 UTC).
