так можно пофантазировать - НАСА не закрыло в 2002 году проект спасательного корабля на 7 человек. И он сейчас пристыкован к МКС. Их действия когда проблемы у одного больного, а спасательный аппарат на 7, и аппарат пристыкован один? Можно и из этой темы убрать в другую

As Crew-11 prepares to depart from the space station, NASA astronaut Mike Fincke will hand command of Expedition 74 aboard the orbital complex to Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Kud-Sverchkov. On Jan. 8, NASA announced its decision to return the agency's SpaceX Crew-11 mission to Earth from the space station earlier than originally planned as teams monitor a medical concern with a crew member currently living and working aboard the orbital laboratory, who is stable. Due to medical privacy, it is not appropriate for NASA to share more details about the crew member.
Following Crew-11's departure on Wednesday, Jan. 14, NASA astronaut Zena Cardman and Fincke, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Kimiya Yui, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov are scheduled to splash down off the coast of California at approximately 3:40 a.m. EST (0840 UTC) on Thursday, Jan. 15.

Только вот за такой опыт кто-то минимум кресла лишится, а максимум - сядет в "места не столь отдалённые", если врачи предупредили, что есть шансы получить такой опыт, и он решил его получить.

А я думал тут о Марсе, а оказывается - о креслах. Врача включить в состав экипажа, робота-хирурга ему в комплект, с рулеткой и ИИ.

On Jan. 8, NASA decided to return Crew-11 earlier than originally planned as teams monitored a medical concern with a crew member currently living and working aboard the International Space Station. The crew member is stable.  
NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Kimiya Yui, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov will close the hatch at approximately 3:30 p.m. EST between the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft and the orbital complex. 
NASA will provide live undocking coverage at 4:45 p.m. on NASA+, Amazon Prime, and the agency's YouTube channel. The spacecraft will autonomously undock from the space station within a one-hour window which begins at after 5 p.m. for its return to Earth.. 
NASA and SpaceX are targeting splashdown at approximately 3:41 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15, off the coast of California. NASA will provide coverage of deorbit burn, entry, and splashdown beginning at 2:15 a.m. on NASA+, Amazon Prime, and the agency's YouTube channel.

NASA previously announced all four crew members will be transported to a local hospital for additional evaluation, taking advantage of medical resources on Earth to provide the best care possible.
Following a planned overnight hospital stay, the crew will return to NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, where they will reunite with their families and undergo standard post-flight reconditioning and evaluations.
