With the changes to Dragon's space station operations, NASA and Northrop Grumman now are targeting a Friday, Dec. 22, for the departure of the Cygnus spacecraft from the orbital complex.

Robotic Arm Releases Cygnus from Station

At 8:06 a.m. EST, Northrop Grumman Cygnus spacecraft was released from the Canadarm2 robotic arm which earlier detached Cygnus from the Earth-facing port of the International Space Station's Unity module. At the time of release, the station was flying about 260 miles over the Atlantic Ocean.
The Cygnus spacecraft successfully departed the space station more than four months after arriving at the microgravity laboratory to deliver about 8,200 pounds of supplies, scientific investigations, commercial products, hardware, and other cargo for NASA and its international partners.
Following a deorbit engine firing in early January, Cygnus will begin a planned destructive re-entry, in which the spacecraft – filled with trash packed by the station crew – will safely burn up in Earth's atmosphere...

Laurel Clark", was unberthed from the Earth-facing port of the Unity module and released by the Canadarm2 robotic arm, departing the International Space Station, on 22 December 2023, at 13:06 UTC (08:06 EST). For NASA's Commercial Resupply Services-2 (CRS-2) NG-19 mission, Cygnus delivered approximately 3,729 kg (8,200 lb.) of supplies to the International Space Station. The NG-19 Cygnus Cargo Delivery Spacecraft is named in honor of the late NASA astronaut Laurel Clark.

НЬЮ-ЙОРК, 22 декабря. /ТАСС/. Американский грузовой корабль Cygnus компании Northrop Grumman отстыковался в пятницу от Международной космической станции (МКС). Трансляция ведется на сайте Национального управления США по аэронавтике и исследованию космического пространства (NASA).

Отстыковка корабля от орбитальной станции была осуществлена в 08:07 по времени Восточного побережья США (16:07 мск). Cygnus забрал с собой мусор и отходы, как ожидается, через две недели корабль сгорит в плотных слоях атмосферы.

Космический корабль Cygnus прибыл на МКС 4 августа и доставил на орбитальную станцию порядка 3,8 тонны грузов. Таким образом, корабль пробыл на МКС около 4,5 месяца...
