Does today's mission patch seem familiar? 'It's a Little Chile Up Here' is a nod to the beloved green chile of New Mexico where the Space Test Program is based. This is our 2nd launch for STP after 'That's a Funny Looking Cactus' in 2019. Spot the green chile in both patches!

Rocket Lab says the Electron rocket placed the kick stage and Monolith spacecraft into a good parking orbit with an apogee of 376 miles (605 kilometers), a perigee of 152 miles (245 kilometers), and an inclination of 37 degrees.
The kick stage firing set to begin at T+plus 49 minutes, 20 seconds, will circularize the orbit before separation of the Monolith satellite.

07/29/2021 09:53 Stephen Clark
Rocket Lab's kick stage has completed a nearly one-minute firing to circularize its orbit at an altitude of 372 miles (600 kilometers) before separation of the U.S. military's small Monolith satellite.

Три объекта на орбите с наклонением 37° -- 49052, 49053 и 49054.
Вдоль 37-й параллели стреляли, однако :-)
