Vapors are now streaming away from the Falcon 9 rocket at pad 40, suggesting fueling is well underway and the static fire test is on track for 1:30 a.m. EST (0630 GMT). Ice build-up on the first stage is also visible, indicating super-cold liquid oxygen is being pumped aboard the launch vehicle.

The strongback umbilical tower at pad 40 is retracting into position for engine start, suggesting the hold-down firing of the Falcon 9 rocket's nine first stage Merlin engines remains on track for 1:30 a.m. EST (0630 GMT).

STARLINK MISSION

SpaceX is targeting Sunday, November 22 for launch of its sixteenth Starlink mission, which will launch 60 Starlink satellites from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The instantaneous launch window is at 9:56 p.m. EST, 02:56 UTC on Monday, November 23.

The Falcon 9 first stage rocket booster supporting this mission previously flew on six other missions: the Telstar 18 VANTAGE mission in September 2018, the Iridium-8 mission in January 2019, and four Starlink missions in May 2019, January 2020, June 2020, and August 2020. Following stage separation, SpaceX will land Falcon 9's first stage on the "Of Course I Still Love You" droneship, which will be located in the Atlantic Ocean. One half of Falcon 9's fairing previously supported a mission, and the other half previously two.

SpaceX will load kerosene and liquid oxygen propellants into the rocket beginning at 9:21 p.m. EST (0221 GMT). The automated countdown will proceed through propellant loading, final guidance system checkouts, and pressurization before issuing the command to ignite the nine Merlin 1D engines at T-minus 3 seconds.

Restraints will open to allow the 229-foot-tall (70-meter) Falcon 9 rocket to climb away from pad 40 with 1.7 million pounds of thrust from its Merlin main engines.

Heading northeast from Cape Canaveral, the rocket's first stage booster will separate about two-and-a-half minutes into the mission, targeting a landing on SpaceX's drone ship "Of Course I Still Love You" around 400 miles (650 kilometers) northeast of the launch site.

The booster is scheduled to land on the floating platform at T+plus 8 minute, 44 seconds, moments before shutdown of the Falcon 9's upper stage engine. The upper stage will deploy the 60 flat-panel Starlink satellites at T+plus 14 minutes, 44 seconds, according to a mission timeline released by SpaceX.

The rocket will aim to place the satellites into an elliptical orbit ranging between 132 miles (213 kilometers) and 227 miles (366 kilometers), with an inclination of 53 degrees to the equator.

The quarter-ton satellites, built by SpaceX in Redmond, Washington, are expected to unfurl power-generating solar arrays and prime their krypton ion thrusters to begin raising their orbits to an operational altitude of 341 miles (550 kilometers), where they will join more than 800 other Starlink relay stations to beam broadband internet signals across most of the populated world.

With tonight's launch, SpaceX will have deployed 955 Starlink satellites into orbit since May 2019.

T-minus 2 hours. SpaceX teams are preparing for the start of fueling of the Falcon 9 with super-chilled, densified RP-1 kerosene and liquid oxygen propellants.

SpaceX's launch conductor will verify all members of the launch team are ready to proceed with the final 35-minute automated countdown sequence at 9:18 p.m. EST (0218 GMT), followed by the start of filling the rocket with super-chilled, densified RP-1 kerosene and liquid oxygen propellants at 9:21 p.m. EST (0221).

Liquid oxygen loading into the second stage will begin at T-minus 16 minutes, at 9:40 p.m. EST (1230 GMT), followed by final chilldown of the rocket's nine Merlin first stage engines, a final pre-flight engine steering check, switching of the rocket to internal power, and pressurization of the Falcon 9's propellant tanks leading up to liftoff.

So I'm literally repeating what SpaceX says below, but it does point to nothing major...just more time for a data review. And if they don't go tomorrow that is likely due to recovery conditions out in the Atlantic.
