We finally get to see some views of the Soyuz ST-A after the scrub was called.

The issue is "fly through lightning", but this is a Soyuz and only Sharknandos are a problem for this rocket. So scrubbed due to Sharknando it is

ПАРИЖ, 30 ноя – РИА Новости. Старт российской ракеты-носитель "Союз" со спутником ОАЭ Falcon Eye с космодрома Куру во Французской Гвиане отложен из-за неблагоприятных погодных условий, заявил глава компании Arianespace Стефан Израэль.

"Существует риск удара молнии, поэтому невозможно произвести пуск сегодня. Нет проблем, запустим завтра", - заявил глава компании, уточнив, что следующая попытка планируется на то же время. Трансляция запуска велась на сайте компании.

As weather conditions were not favorable (due to the risk of lightning strike in flight), Arianespace decided to interrupt the final VS24 launch chronology 3 minutes and 54 seconds before liftoff.

The soonest possible launch date for the VS24 Flight is Monday, 30 November at:

• 08:33 p.m., in Washington, D.C.
• 10:33 p.m., in Kourou, French Guiana
• 01:33 Universal Time (UTC) on 01 December
• 02:33 p.m., in Paris, on 01 December
• 05:33 p.m., in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) time, on 01 December

The Soyuz launcher for Flight VS24 is shown in its protective mobile launch gantry during tonight's countdown at the Spaceport.

Arianespace stopped the final countdown for Soyuz Flight VS24 at 3 minutes, 54 seconds before liftoff tonight because of the potential risk for a lightning strike on the launch vehicle during its ascent from the Spaceport in French Guiana.

The Soyuz launcher and its FalconEye satellite payload are in stable and safe conditions.

The soonest possible launch date for Flight VS24 is Monday, November 30 at:

> 8:33 p.m., in Washington, D.C.;
> 10:33 p.m., in Kourou, French Guiana;
> 01:33 Universal Time (UTC) on December 1;
> 2:33 p.m., in Paris, on December 1; and

Minus-60 minutes. The launch team is loading more than 500,000 pounds of liquid oxygen and kerosene propellant into the rocket this morning, plus hydrogen peroxide to drive the engines' gas turbines and liquid nitrogen to keep the propellant tanks pressurized.

The Soyuz countdown sequence begins 5 minutes, 10 seconds prior to liftoff, then the Fregat upper stage will transition to internal power five minutes before launch.

The umbilical arm servicing the upper stage and payloads will pull away at T-minus 2 minutes, 25 seconds. The Soyuz rocket is operating on internal power at T-minus 40 seconds, and the final servicing mast retracts from the rocket 20 seconds later.

The ignition sequence of the Soyuz rocket's kerosene-fueled core stage and four strap-on boosters begins 17 seconds before liftoff, and all engines should be at full thrust three seconds before launch.

Flying for the 24th time from the Guiana Space Center in South America, the Soyuz will head north over the Atlantic with the Falcon Eye 2 military spy satellite for the UAE's military. The Soyuz rocket's Fregat upper stage will deploy the Falcon Eye 2 satellite into a 379-mile-high (611-kilometer) sun-synchronous orbit about 59 minutes after liftoff.

It will be the eighth Arianespace flight of the year, and 12th Soyuz launch anywhere so far in 2019.

Russian officials, Arianespace top management and representatives from the French-run spaceport met around five hours before liftoff to authorize fueling of the three-stage Soyuz rocket with kerosene and liquid oxygen.

The launch pad's 174-foot-tall mobile service gantry has been retracted to reveal the Soyuz booster. The mobile structure is secured in launch position about 260 feet from the rocket.

The tower's retraction to launch position allows ground teams to complete radio checks with the rocket's tracking beacon and destruct system.
