Ракета-носитель СОЮЗ СТ-А с разгонным блоком Фрегат (полёт VS24) должна вывести на орбиту спутник FALCON EYE 2. Cпутник принадлежит Объединенным Арабским Эмиратам и предназначен для получения изображений Земли с высоким разрешением.

В понедельник источник сообщил ТАСС, что специалисты Роскосмоса обнаружили технические неполадки при подготовке пуска с Гвианского космического центра (Куру). Источник в ракетно-космической отрасли пояснил ТАСС, что на прошлой неделе во время испытаний в монтажно-измерительном комплексе была выявлена негерметичность электропневмоклапана. Для его замены была доставлена новая деталь из России.

Во вторник Рогозин подтвердил информацию об обнаружении бракованного клапана в ракете "Союз" на космодроме Куру и предотвращении аварии при ее запуске.

Старт ракеты-носителя "Союз-СТ-А" запланирован на 29 ноября. Российская ракета должна вывести на орбиту спутник ОАЭ Falcon Eye 2. Ранее запуск неоднократно переносился из-за замечаний к разгонному блоку "Фрегат".

Это не так. Пуск состоится в ранее установленные сроки, то есть завтра рано утром. Перенос возможен только из-за погодных условий, но пока идем на завтра.

So there apparently there is this Soyuz launch from CSG later tonight (CSG time), but @Arianespace hasnt said a word, the website is empty and the only information is coming from @Rogozin and a mention on the "visit a launch" CSG website, I find this rather strange... #VS24 #CSG

Flight VS24: Arianespace will launch from the Guiana Space Center with Soyuz its eighth mission of 2020



On November 29, Arianespace will carry out from the Guiana Space Center (CSG) in French Guiana, its eighth launch of the year.

This mission will be the third realized this year with the Soyuz medium-lift launch vehicle, the two previous ones were conducted from Russia.

The launcher will be carrying a total payload of approximately 1,340 kg and will place its undisclosed satellite passenger into a Sun-synchronous orbit (SSO).

Flight VS24 will be performed from the Soyuz Launch Complex (ELS) in Sinnamary, French Guiana.

The Launch Readiness Review (LRR) took place on Saturday, November 28, 2020 in Kourou and authorized the start of operations for the final countdown.

Soyuz set for November 29 liftoff on Arianespace's next launch

Arianespace's eighth mission of 2020 – and its third this year using a medium-lift Soyuz – will be carried out tomorrow (November 29) from the Spaceport in French Guiana.

The launch vehicle will be carrying a total payload of approximately 1,340 kg, and will place its undisclosed satellite passenger into Sun-synchronous orbit (SSO).

Arianespace's two preceding Soyuz launches this year – performed in February and March – were conducted from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.  Tomorrow's mission is designed Flight VS24 in the company's numbering system.

"29 ноября (30 ноября мск - прим. ТАСС) Arianespace осуществит с космодрома во Французской Гвиане свой восьмой запуск в этом году", - говорится в сообщении. В компании подчеркнули, что эта миссия станет третьей осуществленной в 2020 году с помощью ракеты-носителя "Союз".

Согласно коммюнике компании, старт ракеты запланирован на 04:33 по московскому времени (29 ноября 22:33 по времени во Французской Гвиане).

В Arianespace также отметили, что запуск будет транслироваться на сайте компании.

Ранее о переносе запуска ракеты-носителя на сутки сообщил гендиректор Роскосмоса Дмитрий Рогозин. "В ГКЦ (Гвианском космическом центре - прим. ТАСС) принято решение на продолжение подготовки и пуск РКН (ракеты-носителя - прим. ТАСС) 30.11.2020 в 04:33 мск", - написал Рогозин в Twitter.

FLIGHT VS24: ARIANESPACE AT THE SERVICE OF AN EARTH OBSERVATION PROGRAM FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

For its eighth launch of the year and the third Soyuz flight of 2020, Arianespace will orbit the FalconEye satellite.

FalconEye is a high performance optical Earth observation satellite system for the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates (UAEAF) manufactured by the consortium of Airbus Defence and Space and Thales Alenia Space.

FalconEye

The satellite is equipped with an Earth observation payload, with very-high-resolution optical capabilities and completed by a ground system for monitoring, receiving and processing images. It will be controlled and managed by Emirati operators.

The FalconEye satellite, to be orbited by Flight VS24, will be the space component of the system, and will have a dual mission: support the needs of UAE Armed Forces and provide commercial imagery for the market. Weighing approximately 1,190 kg at launch, it will be placed in a Sun-synchronous orbit at 611km from the Earth.

FalconEye will be the 98^th Earth observation satellite launched by Arianespace. Earth observation missions represent more than 13% of the total number of satellites launched by Arianespace.

FalconEye is built by a the consortium led by Airbus Defence and Space and Thales Alenia Space.

As industrial prime contractor prime contractor, Airbus Defence and Space was in charge of the platform and satellite design, integration and tests.

Thales Alenia Space, as co-prime, designed and supplied the high performance payload including the high resolution optical instrument and the image chain subsystem.

In the 40 years since Arianespace's creation, the launch services company has maintained a fruitful cooperation with Airbus. FalconEye will be the 129^th Airbus Defence and Space satellite to be launched by Arianespace. There currently are 19 Airbus Defence and Space satellites in Arianespace's backlog.

FalconEye will be the 164^th satellite manufactured by Thales Alenia Space to be launched by Arianespace. There currently are five Thales Alenia Space satellites in Arianespace's backlog.

FalconEye will be the 23^rd cooperative mission launched by Arianespace that has brought Airbus Defence and Space together with Thales Alenia Space.
