Цзюцюань /пров. Ганьсу/, 3 декабря /Синьхуа/ -- В воскресенье в 12:11 китайская ракета-носитель, запущенная с космодрома Цзюцюань провинции Ганьсу /Северо-Западный Китай/, успешно вывела на намеченную орбиту спутник дистанционного зондирования наземных ресурсов.

Спутник, который был выведен на орбиту ракетой-носителем "Чанчжэн-2Г", предназначен для обследования наземных ресурсов.

С учетом нынешнего запуска китайские ракеты-носители семейства "Чанчжэн" совершили уже 257 полетов.

China continued its recent rapid rate of space missions with the launch of a land survey satellite on Sunday from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre in the Gobi Desert.

A Long March 2D rocket lifted off from Jiuquan at 04:11 UTC, or just after noon local time.

State media confirmed success of the launch under an hour later, disclosing the mission payload to be Land Survey Satellite-1, which will be mainly used for 'remote sensing exploration of land resources', with no further details offered.

The satellite was developed by the China Academy of Space Technology (CAST), which researches, development, and manufactures satellites and spacecraft and is a subsidiary of the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), the main contractor for the Chinese space programme.

The Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology (SAST), another CASC owned entity, developed the Long March 2D launch vehicle.

Launch pressure after failures

Sunday's launch was the 15th for China in 2017, and the seventh since late October. The country was aiming to launch around 30 times this year, but two launch issues in June and July - most notably the failure of the new Long March 5 heavy-lift rocket - brought a halt to all launches for 89 days.

CASC, which is responsible for both government and international contracts and also a share of domestic commercial launches, is working to ease the pressure off a large, backed-up launch schedule.

Upcoming launches include Alcomsat-1, a geostationary telecommunications satellite for Algeria, a pair of Beidou navigation and positioning satellites to add to a growing constellation, and the second set of Gaojing (SuperView) commercial Earth observation birds (December 25-28 ).

China's overall record for Long March rocket launches now stands at 257, with the first taking place on April 24, 1970. Of these, 243 have been successful, with eight failures and six partial failures, bringing a success rate of 94.5 percent.

Sunday's launch was the 34th for the Long March 2D and the 33rd successful flight, having suffered a partial failure in December 2016.

На spaceflightfans.cn полагают, что они заявлены для запуска LKW-2 (Yaogan-32).
(в таком случае пара GaoJing 1-03/1-04 уходит на след. год; или полетит из Тайюаня, возможно).

и дополнительно обнаружило ещё два объекта запуска - TBA (77D, 77E)
