Troubleshooting of the failed pump has been unsuccessful so far, even with multiple power cycles.
"Just to give you a quick status, we have cycled all the circuit breakers several times, we've beat on the pump a couple of times, we have disconnected, reconnected the plugs a couple of times," reported one of the crew members on the L-1011. "We can hear the relay click, but the pump is not coming on."
The pump controls the Pegasus release mechanism.

Troubleshooting has moved from "We also beat the pump a couple of times but it is not starting" to a recycle of the pump.

Launch managers are continuing to keep their options open. Launch preparations are continuing to allow another drop attempt during today's window, which closes at 9:19 a.m. EST (1419 GMT).
The L-1011 is passing through waypoints along its race track pattern to set up for another drop opportunity.
The countdown may progress down to T-minus 4 minutes in hopes the hydraulic pump can be activated.

Meanwhile, the Pegasus rocket's avionics systems are going to internal power as the countdown ticks toward a drop targeted at 9:05:50 a.m. EST (1405:50 GMT).

The hydraulic pump problem continues to stand in the way of launch.
