Separation of Intelsat 33e onfirmed, beginning a 15-year mission for Washington-based Intelsat. The satellite carries Ku-band and C-band payloads to provide television, broadband and mobile telecom services from Europe and Africa to the Asia-Pacific.
The Ariane 5's Sylda 5 dual payload adapter will be separated next, revealing the Intelsat 36 spacecraft for its deployment in a few minutes.

The Intelsat 36 communications satellite has deployed fr om the Ariane 5 rocket.

Built by Space Systems/Loral, the 7,171-pound satellite will enter service in geostationary orbit at 68.5 degrees east longitude, wh ere it will broadcast television across sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.

Английский LEROS используется и на платформе Локхида А2100, и на платформе Боинга 702MP.
