Arianespace has declared success on tonight's mission.

"Arianespace is delighted to announce that DSN 1/Superbird 8 and Hylas 4 have been separated as planned in their targeted geostationary transfer orbits," said Stephane Israel, chairman and CEO of Arianespace. "For our third launch of the year, Ariane 5 performed flawlessly. Congratulations to all."

This mission marks the successful resumption of Ariane 5 launches after a rocket placed two commercial in an off-target orbit in January.
