Sharicoff

Может и не увидят (такого же маленького перуанца от прошлогоднего ноябрьского "Днепра" так и не увидели пока - хотя номер под него держат). Может быть COBRA Dane обнаружит.

Главное , что он сигналы подает и их принимают.

ЦитироватьCanX-4&5 Formation Flying Mission Accomplished
November 5, 2014

In only four months following launch, the CanX-4 and CanX-5 dual satellite formation flying mission has been accomplished ahead of schedule.
During the month of October, the CanX-4&5 nanosatellites used on-board propulsion, GPS-based relative navigation, and intersatellite radios to execute a series of precise, controlled, autonomous formations, ranging from 1 km range down to 50 m separation. In each case, more than 10 orbits were accomplished with sub-meter formation control and centimeter-level relative navigation, feats which (to SFL's knowledge) have never before been accomplished at the nanosatellite scale.
"CanX-4 and CanX-5 were designed to demonstrate formation flying in two along-track orbits, and two projected circular orbits,", said Grant Bonin, the CanX-4&5 project manager. "We're pleased to report that we've now completed all of the intended formations, and indications are that have out-performed our control performance requirements in every case. We are very pleased with the results."
Launched on 30 June 2014 from Sriharikota, India onboard the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) which also carried the SPOT-7 satellite and two other spacecraft from Germany and Singapore, the CanX-4 and CanX-5 nanosatellites were deployed separately following launch, after which a series of orbit acquisition and phasing maneuvers were used to bring the satellites within communication range of each other.
Using carrier-phase differential GPS techniques for extremely high-precision relative navigation, the mission first undertook along-track orbit (ATO) formations at 1000m and 500m, after which the two spacecraft were reconfigured to perform projected-circular orbit (PCO) formations (in which one satellite appears to circle the other from a ground observer's standpoint) at 100m and then 50m range. All guidance, navigation and control algorithms were developed in-house and executed autonomously on-orbit, with no ground intervention required during formation flight.
"CanX-4 and CanX-5 have pushed the boundary of what can be achieved with miniature spacecraft", said Dr. Robert Zee, director of the Space Flight Laboratory. "These two satellites have allowed us to demonstrate high-performance formation flying algorithms and hardware that can enable a wide variety of small and large missions."
The technologies and algorithms demonstrated on CanX-4&5 have several applications for a wide range of missions, such as on-orbit inspection and repair, sparse aperture sensing, interferometry, and ground moving target indication.
"Both satellites continue to perform exceptionally well, and we still have a very large fraction of our propellant remaining in CanX-5, and close to a full tank in CanX-4", said Bonin.
SFL intends to begin publishing the detailed results of the CanX-4 and CanX-5 experiments over the next several months. The two spacecraft were designed, built, tested, and are being operated from SFL's Microsatellite Science and Technology Center (MSTC) in Toronto, Canada.

Azercosmos" OJC to operate and commercialize SPOT 7 high resolution optical Earth observation satellite, to be renamed as Azersky
 02 DECEMBER 2014

Baku, 2 December 2014 – Within the strategic cooperation framework between Azerbaijan and France in the space industry, "Azercosmos" OJC, national satellite operator of Azerbaijan, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Airbus Defence and Space to take over the rights to operate and commercialize the SPOT 7 high resolution (1.5m imagery products) optical Earth observation satellite, which was successfully launched on June 30, 2014 and to be renamed as Azersky. The agreement, which is an important step in the development of relations between Azerbaijan and France, was signed at Bakutel 2014 Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition in the presence of His Excellency President Ilham Aliyev. Mr. President commenced commercial operation of Azersky by acquiring the first symbolic image from the satellite.

The long term strategic cooperation between two parties also includes joint operations of Azersky of Azercosmos and the SPOT 6 high resolution (1.5m imagery products) optical Earth observation satellite of Airbus Defence and Space in a constellation to provide superior service. Moreover, the ground segment to be constructed will allow Azercosmos to access images acquired from Pléiades 1A and 1B, very high resolution (0.5m imagery products) optical Earth observation satellites commercialized by Airbus Defence and Space. This satellite constellation opens up opportunities for many applications, providing the latest images within an unprecedented time frame. The combined acquisition capacity of Azersky and SPOT 6 is equal to six million square kilometres per day – an area ten times the size of France. This means that every day, every point on the globe can be viewed in high-resolution by the Azersky and SPOT 6 satellites.

Azersky was successfully launched on June 30, 2014 on a PSLV Indian launcher and was designed to survive harmful space conditions for at least 12 years. Azersky has a broad range of applications including but not limited to defence and security, emergency response, exploration of natural resources, maritime surveillance, sea faring, environmental protection, urban planning, cartography, agriculture, and tourism. During the next 1.5 years, more than 25 Azerbaijani professionals will be trained in France on optical satellite operations, product development, sales, and marketing of Geo-Information services. This agreement also marks Azercosmos' entry into the commercial business of Earth observation services, including Geo-Information services. This will strengthen Azerbaijan's position among the limited number of countries rendering satellite services.

Rashad Nabiyev, Azercosmos CEO, noted: "This agreement is an important step taken by Azercosmos to diversify our satellite services and bring additional value into the economy of Azerbaijan; and we are glad that Airbus Defence and Space is with us for this challenging journey."

Evert Dudok, Head of Communications, Intelligence and Security (CIS) Business Line at Airbus Defence and Space, said: "It is a great success to have such an agreement with Azercosmos, in a region offering a high potential for satellite imagery and geo-information applications. This cooperation will allow a business and operational model which is brand new and very innovative for us."
