thanks for the update. One little remark - ST-1B (ShenTong 1B) and ZX-20(2) (ZhongXing-20(2)) are the same. If ST-1B is based on the DFH-3 plattform then CZ-3A is the most likely launcher.

The ST (Shen Tong) series are reportedly chinese military comsats. ST is the first Chinese satellite to provide the Ku-band communication and to feature advanced multiple steerable spot beam antenna technology to enable ground users to communicate while on the move as well as secured uplink transmission for satellite antenna control. It has the most powerful onboard data processing capability of chinese comsats up to this date.

China Aerospace Science and Technology Corp. manufactured the satellites based on the DFH-3 Bus. The launch vehicle was the CZ-3A rocket.

If Compass-G4 launch is confirmed for end October, ZX-20A can't be launched until late November:
"XSLC can accomodate 2 launcher preparations in parallel, with a rate of 10 to 12 launches per year" (i.e. no more than one launch per month)

According to boosters dropzone debris protection preparation, launch is planned for October 31, "at night" (LT).
(The last two launches for Compass-G occurred at 1553 and 1612 UTC)

One of my Beijing friends with good connections to Aerospace City told me that the next Beidou launch is planned for Nov 20. I don't know how reliable this information is.

Subscriptions have started for a stamp comemorating an upcoming launch at the end of November (http://gyh.941jy.com/read-htm-tid-37552.html).

This can be the ZX-20A launch. On the 9ifly Chinese space forum a member pointed a possible November 22 launch date.

On November 16, a meeting for debris protection was held in the city of    Fuquan, Guizhou province (presumably for CZ-3A first stage debris).
No    date given for the launch, but this type of meeting takes place typically 4 to 5 days before launch. So a launch date of November 20 or November 21 could be expected

The satellite will be carried by a Long March 3A carrier rocket, said the statement.

XICHANG, Sichuan, Nov. 25 (Xinhua) -- China successfully launched a communications satellite, "Zhongxing-20A", at 12:09 a.m. Thursday from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China's Sichuan Province.

"Zhongxing-20A" would help improve the country's radio and television broadcasts, said a statement from the center.

The satellite was sent by a Long March 3A rocket into the preset orbit.

It was the 135th launch of China's Long March series of rockets since April 24, 1970, when a Long March-1 rocket successfully sent China's first satellite, Dongfanghong-1, into space.
