First launch of the LEO optimized Centaur V upper stage. The launch will also serve as a certification flight for this new configuration for the US Space Force.

Project Kuiper (KV-01)
Project Kuiper is a mega constellation of satellites in Low Earth Orbit that will offer broadband internet access managed by Kuiper Systems LLC, a subsidiary of Amazon. This constellation is planned to be composed of 3,236 satellites. The satellites are projected to be placed in 98 orbital planes in three orbital layers, one at 590 km, 610 km, and 630 km altitude.

The LEO Centaur V has been moved back to the pad area. It now has insulation around the bottom of the stage, so looks like ULA performed some work on the stage. Hopefully this is a good sign of the Project Kuiper KV-01 mission preparing for launch.
