ЦитироватьExolaunch to Deploy 57 Satellites on Transporter-16 Mission with SpaceX - Celebrating Its 25th Falcon 9 Launch
Global launch integrator continues its accelerating launch cadence and addresses growing launch demand, set to deploy 26 microsats and 31 CubeSats for 25 international customers on the upcoming rideshare mission

Berlin, Germany — Feb. 5, 2026 — Exolaunch, a global leader in launch mission management, satellite integration, and deployment services, will deploy 57 customer satellites on the upcoming Transporter-16 rideshare mission with SpaceX, launching aboard a Falcon 9 rocket no earlier than March 2026. Operating at an accelerating scale to align with growing global demand for access to orbit, Exolaunch has manifested and deployed satellites on every Transporter rideshare mission since the program's inception in 2020 under multi-year launch agreements with SpaceX. This mission also marks the 25th time Exolaunch hardware has flown aboard Falcon 9 missions.
Exolaunch's customers on the Transporter-16 mission benefit from the company's decade of experience executing launch campaigns and satellite deployments at scale, with more than 670 satellites deployed to date. Exolaunch's launch offering is structured to manage the technical, contractual, logistical and regulatory complexity of getting satellites to orbit, enabling customers to focus on spacecraft development and operations. Services include launch program planning and launch capacity procurement, end-to-end launch mission management, environmental testing, satellite integration, global shipping and customs clearance, and satellite deployment using Exolaunch's flight-proven technologies. As with previous missions, Exolaunch is utilizing its portfolio of flight-proven deployment technologies to enable successful deployments for 57 customer satellites aboard the mission:
  • EXOpod Nova deployers for standard and high-volume, high-mass CubeSats
  • CarboNIX separation rings in multiple sizes for satellites up to 1000 kilograms
This will further expand the adoption of Exolaunch's deployment solutions, now among the most reliable and user-friendly in the industry.

Цитировать"In 2026 alone, Exolaunch is set to deliver several hundred satellites to orbit across more than 20 missions. That scale reflects how access to space is becoming long-term infrastructure — supported by sustained public investment globally and growing demand — and why reliability and proven excellence in execution matter more than ever," said Jeanne Allarie, Chief Investor Relations Officer at Exolaunch. "Our role is to provide continuity across the current launch landscape, ensuring customers have quick access to orbit, and we greatly value our long-standing collaboration with SpaceX to get here."

Exolaunch is enabling launch access for more than 25 commercial, institutional, and government customers from the United States, the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, France, Finland, Greece, Italy, Spain, South Korea, Taiwan, Turkey, and more on this mission. Integration activities with Exolaunch's deployment systems have been successfully completed at the company's Berlin headquarters and customer facilities worldwide, with the final satellite integration campaign currently underway at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.

We have shipped our 20kW satellite - Gravitas - to the launch site.

Given the supply chain to operate at this power regime doesn't exist, we had to build 85% of the satellite in-house. This includes building our own large solar arrays, high power propulsion system, large batteries, large reaction wheels and much more.

This launch will represent the first time all of these systems are test on orbit together.

Internally at K2 Space, we've thought about a few levels of success for this mission - we expect mission success to fall somewhere along this spectrum:
  • Tier 1 (Baseline mission success): Deploy solar arrays, establish comms, operate the satellite —> we've now got an operational 20kW satellite on orbit
  • Tier 2: Power on the payloads, activate the 20kW propulsion system —> we're completing payload missions and have fired the highest power hall thruster ever flown on orbit
  • Tier 3: Orbit raise the satellite, test performance in high radiation environments (like 2,000km) —> we've collected massive amounts of data on the performance of the platform in very very difficult environments

More than anything, Gravitas represents the start of an iterative journey, where we will take the data we receive from this first satellite and incorporate it into the next wave of satellites launching next year.

With this first one we're going to learn a lot about the different subsystems, the plan is to continue to make improvements from Gravitas to Trinity, our next mission.

We'll ramp production in parallel - from one last year, to many this year to many many more next year. Will definitely be a balance, but working off of one core configuration should ensure the work is all additive/cumulative.

Yes, we'll be in the caketopper slot for T-16
