Nikkei: Байден и Кисида обсудят запуск американских ракет с территории Японии

Премьер-министр Японии Фумио Кисида и президент США Джо Байден на саммите 10 апреля в Вашингтоне обсудят строительство космодрома для запуска американских ракет космического назначения с японской территории. Об этом сообщает газета Nikkei.

«Наличие космодрома окажет значительный экономический эффект, поскольку рядом с ним откроются предприятия, занимающиеся сборкой ракет и производством деталей», — пишет издание.

Правительство Японии поддерживает подобные инициативы путем создания государственно-частного партнерства в области освоения космоса. Для реализации космической стратегии власти создали фонд размером в один триллион японских йен (примерно 6,6 миллиарда долларов — прим. «Ленты.ру»).

Ранее премьер-министр Фумио Кисида заявил о необходимости создать оборонный союз Японии и США из-за конфликтов на Украине и Ближнем Востоке.
