Возможно, боян, но я помучил поиск и не нашел ничего об этом на форуме.

Цитировать2.26. Reusable Airbreathing Access-to-Space Launch

The cost of placing satellites in orbit with current EELV launchers is high. Next-generation two-stage-to-orbit launch systems currently under consideration are focused on reusable rocket approaches that can provide modest reductions in launch costs depending on launch rates. However reusable airbreathing two-stage-to-orbit systems based on combined-cycle propulsion, as in Figure 23, have potential to create large reductions in launch costs, since such systems utilize oxygen in the atmosphere and thus do not need to loft the enormous oxidizer weight needed by rocket systems. Vertical takeoff space launch vehicles such as this will use a reusable rocket first stage with a reusable rocket-based combined-cycle airbreathing scramjet second-stage. Advanced materials, automation, and on-board diagnostic and prognostic systems will allow rapid turn-around for reuse as well as life cycle cost savings as compared to conventional rockets.

Жуткий маразм ввиду низкой плотности атмосферного кислорода.

От этой фразы долго ржал. Они гланды удаляют per rectum :)
