Fair winds and following seas GO Ms. Chief! They are heading for the Starlink fairing catch landing zone. It is possible Ms. Tree will join them for a dual catch attempt or they will stay split up and run solo for each mission. We'll find out which soon enough. #SpaceXFleet

ULA said Friday that the next launch attempt for its Delta 4-Heavy rocket from Cape Canaveral with a top secret U.S. government spy satellite will be delayed to early Sunday to address a problem with the launch pad's swing arm retraction system. https://spaceflightnow.com/2020/09/24/delta-4-heavy-cleared-for-liftoff-after-launch-readiness-review/

Starlink

Spaceflight Now.

It's getting very busy offshore! Dual droneship deployment!

OCISLY, GO Quest and Ms. Chief are in position to support the Starlink mission. Tug Hawk is towing JRTI towards the GPS LZ.

Ms. Tree is still docked in Morehead City - unclear if she will take part in either mission.

Ms. Tree is joining the rest of the recovery fleet offshore and is now departing from the Port of Morehead City.

STARLINK MISSION

SpaceX is targeting Monday, September 28 at 10:22 a.m. EDT, 14:22 UTC, for launch of its thirteenth Starlink mission, which will launch 60 Starlink satellites to orbit. Falcon 9 will lift off from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Falcon 9's first stage previously supported launch of Crew Dragon's first flight to the International Space Station with NASA astronauts onboard and the ANASIS-II mission. Following stage separation, SpaceX will land Falcon 9's first stage on the "Of Course I Still Love You" droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. One of Falcon 9's fairing halves supported two previous Starlink launches.

The Starlink satellites will deploy approximately 1 hour and 1 minute after liftoff.

After an 11-day delay, SpaceX plans to deploy 60 more Starlink broadband satellites with a Falcon 9 rocket launch scheduled for 10:22 a.m. EDT (1422 GMT) Monday from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The 229-foot-tall (70-meter) Falcon 9 rocket was originally supposed to launch from pad 39A at Kennedy on Sept. 17, but SpaceX scrubbed the countdown due to unfavorable conditions in the Atlantic Ocean, where the company's booster recovery vessel "Just Read the Instructions" was unable to maintain position for landing of the Falcon 9's first stage.
SpaceX attributed the problem to strong currents in the recovery zone roughly 400 miles (630 kilometers) northeast of the Kennedy Space Center.
Teams returned the drone ship to Port Canaveral last week, and then dispatched "Of Course I Still Love You" -- SpaceX's other drone ship -- into the Atlantic Ocean for landing of the Falcon 9 booster on the Starlink mission.
Meanwhile, "Just Read the Instructions" departed Port Canaveral again Saturday to support a rocket landing on a different Falcon 9 launch scheduled at 9:55 p.m. EDT Tuesday (0155 GMT) Wednesday) from pad 40 at Cape Canaveral. That launch will carry a U.S. Space Force GPS navigation satellite into orbit.
United Launch Alliance is also gearing up for a mission this week, with a Delta 4-Heavy set for liftoff from pad 37 at Cape Canaveral at 12:02 a.m. EDT (0402 GMT) Tuesday with a top secret spy satellite for the National Reconnaissance Office.
