SpaceX will attempt to land the 156-foot-tall first stage of the Falcon 9 rocket downrange aboard a recovery vessel, extending the company's experiments with rocket re-entry and reusability.
The drone ship, christened "Of Course I Still Love You," is positioned about 185 miles (300 kilometers) northeast of Cape Canaveral in the Atlantic Ocean.
The experimental landing maneuver will come after three burns of the Falcon 9's first stage -- the first two ignitions with three engines, then a final firing of one engine -- to steer the rocket toward the drone ship.
Landing is expected about 9 minutes after liftoff.

21:01
SpaceX is gearing up for this afternoon's launch of a Dragon supply ship heading for the International Space Station with nearly 3.5 tons of supplies, provisions and experiments.

The instantaneous launch opportunity is set for 4:43:32 p.m. EDT (2043:32 GMT).
The SpaceX launch team is coming on console at the launch control center this afternoon to run the Falcon 9 through prelaunch tests at the Complex 40 launch pad, then begin fueling the two-stage booster with super-chilled kerosene and liquid oxygen propellants about 30 minutes before liftoff.
Forecasters predict favorable weather during this evening's launch window, with a 90 percent chance conditions will be acceptable for liftoff.
Mostly clear skies are in the forecast, with a few clouds at 25,000 feet. Winds will be from the west at 17 to 22 mph, and the temperature at launch time is forecast to be 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

17:22  SpaceX adds abort function for Dragon cargo flights

Taking a lesson from a launch failure last June, SpaceX wrote coded commands for future Dragon cargo capsules to deploy their parachutes for an emergency landing in the event of future rocket explosions, starting with Friday's resupply flight to the International Space Station.
The Dragon cargo carrier was never designed to survive a catastrophic in-flight rocket failure, but video footage showed the supply ship tumbling away from a debris cloud created by the breakup of its Falcon 9 booster minutes after liftoff from Cape Canaveral in June 2015.

09:57  SpaceX ready to return to space station

Ground crews loaded time-critical experiments, including 20 mice to help scientists study muscle atrophy, into SpaceX's commercial Dragon cargo capsule Thursday, a day before a launch planned from Cape Canaveral toward the International Space Station.
The last-minute additions to the Dragon spacecraft's pressurized cabin also include fresh food and other goodies for the space station's six-man crew. The rocket will be rotated vertical on its launch pad overnight.

09:56  90% chance of good weather

Mostly clear skies and brisk westerly winds are forecast at launch time Friday afternoon for SpaceX's first resupply mission to the International Space Station in nearly a year.
There is a 90 percent chance weather conditions will be acceptable during an instantaneous launch opportunity set for 2043:32 GMT (4:43:32 p.m. EDT). The primary concern is with ground-level winds.

Ничего у них так баржу колбасит, там что, никакой системы стабилизации нету?

SashaBad

Баржа слегка покачивается. Солнечно.
Так или иначе мы всё-таки будем там.
