Amazon Leo (LE-02) (Project Kuiper)
Amazon Leo, formerly known as Project Kuiper, is a mega constellation of satellites in Low Earth Orbit that will offer broadband internet access managed by Kuiper Systems LLC, a subsidiary of Amazon. This constellation is planned to be composed of 3,236 satellites. The satellites are projected to be placed in 98 orbital planes in three orbital layers, one at 590 km, 610 km, and 630 km altitude.

Arianespace has successfully completed the Launch Readiness Review (LRR) for mission VA268.
This final milestone confirms that the launcher, the payload, and all ground systems are ready.
Ariane 64 is now cleared for launch from Europe's Spaceport in French Guiana.
Scheduled for April 30, 2026, the mission will place 32 @Amazonleo satellites into low Earth orbit, marking the second Ariane 6 launch dedicated to the deployment of the constellation.

For this mission, the launcher will carry the 32 satellites under its 20-meter-long fairing and deploy them into low Earth orbit following a mission lasting less than 2 hours from lift-off to separation of the last spacecraft.
