The Hanbit-Nano 'Spaceward' mission is the first commercial launch that will put an actual customer's satellite and payload into low Earth orbit (LEO) at an altitude of 300 km, beyond launch demonstration. Through this mission, Innospace plans to transport a total of 8 regular payloads. Among them, the regular payload consists of five small satellites that will perform practical purposes such as climate and environmental data collection, technology development, and education, and three experimental payloads for verifying new technologies and securing data in the space environment.

INNOSPACE announced today that it has begun functional checks and satellite–launch vehicle interface tests for customer satellites and experimental payloads as part of the operational procedures for its first commercial launch mission SPACEWARD of the 'HANBIT-Nano'.
This procedure verifies the electrical and mechanical connections between the payload adapter (PLA) and other integration hardware with the satellites and payloads. It is an essential pre-launch step to ensure stable mounting and integrated operation.
With its first commercial launcher HANBIT-Nano, INNOSPACE plans to deploy five customer satellites into low Earth orbit (LEO) at 300 km altitude and 40° inclination, while simultaneously performing missions for three non-separating experimental payloads and one branding payload. The target launch time is November 22 at 3:00 PM (BRT), from the Alcantara Launch Center in Brazil. The launch window runs from October 28 to November 28.
On the same day, three Brazilian customers—Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA), the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB), and Castro Leite Consultoria LTDA (CLC)—visited the launch site to conduct functional checks and interface testing. UFMA completed pre-launch procedures for two small satellites for technology development and education; AEB completed checks for two small satellites for climate and environmental data collection and one inertial navigation system (INS); and CLC completed procedures for one GNSS unit and one INS payload.
One small satellite from the Indian customer Grahaa SPACE is scheduled to follow the sequential integration process. In addition, one highball-can branding model from Korean company BREWGURU will be placed separately onboard as a symbolic participatory payload.
"INNOSPACE's satellite–launch vehicle interface test marks a significant step, as it is the first time a Korean private company has independently carried out the integration procedures required for commercial launch services in line with customer requirements. This is symbolic of Korea's private launch service industry entering true commercialization, supported by practical preparations to serve satellite customers," said Soojong Kim, Founder and CEO of INNOSPACE.
Following the completion of these functional checks and interface tests, INNOSPACE will proceed with final integration to mount the satellites onto the launch vehicle. Once completed, the process will move on to payload fairing installation, pre-launch rehearsal (dry run), comprehensive weather and environmental assessments, and finally the joint flight-safety and integrated-operations procedures with the Brazilian Air Force leading up to the final launch countdown.

During the Wet Dress Rehearsal (WDR) held on November 18–19 at the Alcântara Space Center, we successfully completed the full ground launch sequence—from rollout to pre-launch procedures and pad recovery. Readiness confirmed.

The issue requires additional technical review related to the functionality of the second-stage liquid methane engine tank filling valve.

Launch operations are being adjusted in consideration of weather conditions.
The launch, originally scheduled for 3:45 PM (BRT) on Dec. 22, is now expected to take place after 10:00 PM (BRT) on Dec. 22.
According to the Brazilian Air Force Meteorological Service, rainfall exceeding 3 mm per hour is forecast between 1:00–4:00 PM (BRT).
Considering the local weather conditions (rain), it was agreed to temporarily suspend launch operations and resume them once conditions improve.
The exact launch time will be announced once confirmed.

INNOSPACE's first HANBIT-Nano (한빛-나노) launch vehicle launched the SPACEWARD mission with eight payloads from the Alcântara Space Center, Brazil, on 23 December 2025, at 01:13 UTC (22 December, at 22:13 local time). Трансляция запуска, которую вела Innospace, внезапно прервалась. На экране появилась надпись: во время полета произошла аномалия.

Свечение какое-то пульсирующее сразу. Как низкочастотная неустойчивость горения какая-то. Но может быть, и особенность съемки.
Судя по трансляциям, РН вошла в облака на 33-й секунде полёта, далее до 68-й секунды показывали видео с бортовых камер, падение произошло на 75-й секунде.
Стартовый комплекс находится всего в 0.5 км от Атлантического океана по траектории выведения. Поскольку РН упала на землю, то можно предположить, что боковое отклонение было значительным.
Не пострадал ли стартовый комплекс "Циклона-4"? Вполне серьёзный вопрос: он в 3 км к северу.

Можно предположить классику низкочастотных продольных колебаний. Колебания давления кислорода на входе в камеру, порождающие колебания тяги, приводящие к колебаниям продольного ускорения, которые вызывают новые колебания давления кислорода на входе в камеру и т. д. Трудно смоделировать при наземных испытаниях закреплённого двигателя. Может усугубляться тем, что камера большая, но не РДТТ, а гибрид, вообще не самый изученный тип ракетного двигателя.

Строительство космодрома началось в 1982 г. Первые пуски геофизических ракет состоялись в 1990 г.
А вот все три попытки орбитальных запусков, предпринятых с него в разные годы (РН VLS в 1997 и в 1999 гг. и РН Handit-Nano минувшей ночью), закончились неудачей.
Кроме того, в 2003 г. РН VLS взорвалась во время предстартовой подготовки. В этой катастрофе погиб 21 человек, ещё более 20 человек получили ранения.
Бразилия готова предоставить стартовые площадки космодрома любой стране мира, которая будет проводить с него запуски своих ракет. Предложения делались России, США, Израилю, Канаде, Украине и другим. Но интерес проявила только Южная Корея.
