Подтверждение от ISRO про пуск в августе несомненно порадует тех, кто надеется на успех AST.

Пока нет никаких подтверждений тому, что экспериментальный спутник FM1 (первый BlueBird Block 2) отправлен в Индию. AST просили FCC выдать разрешение на запуск к 11 июля, чтобы пуск был возможен в августе. И как раз 11 июля они получили долгожданный STA.

Никаких сообщений об отправке спутника в Индию за прошедшие две недели так и не появилось. Если они и сейчас свой спутник не отправляют, то зачем же тогда они в марте просили FCC срочно (готовы были доплатить за срочность) выдать лицензию в апреле, чтобы запустить в мае?

AST указали в ODAR полную массу спутника 5850 кг, включая 20 кг ксенона. Либо Mr. Narayanan ошибся, либо (что более вероятно) привёл массу спутника вместе с Launch Vehicle Adaptor, который останется на верхней ступени LVM3 после отделения спутника.
Запускать будут на круговую орбиту 520 км с наклонением 53°.

Получается, что после запуска CMS-02 (GSAT-7R) на LVM3-M5, следующим полетит BlueBird Block 2 (aka FM1) LVM3-M6, а GaganYaan G1 уже потом.

The launch is being handled by New Space India Limited (NSIL), the commercial arm of ISRO, which aims at earning revenue for the government through international launch contracts and partnerships. LVM-3 also put India's heaviest CMS-3 satellite, weighing 4.4 tonnes, into its orbit on November 2.
The 6.5-tonne BlueBird-6 satellite, arrived in India on October 19 from the US. It was later transported by road to Sriharikotta for integration with launcher LVM3, fuelling and final checks ahead of its launch.
With the launch of this satellite, space researchers of the mission aim to provide direct-to-device mobile broadband connectivity, fast and unhindered communication and bridge the digital gap with poor terrestrial networks. With this launch, AST SpaceMobiles will become the second satellite broadband customer to fly on LVM3 after Eutelsat OneWeb, the researchers said.
LVM3 is a three-stage 45.5-metre heavy lift vehicle with a lift-off mass of 640 tonnes. It is capable of placing heavy satellites in the designated orbits of 600km altitude.

Коммуникационный спутник BlueBird разработан американской компанией AST SpaceMobile. Его вес составляет 6,5 тонны. Он прибыл в Индию из США 19 октября.

Запуск BlueBird - уже второй пример сотрудничества между США и ISRO. В июле ISRO успешно запустила миссию NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar Mission стоимостью $1,5 млрд, целью которой является получение высококачественных снимков Земли с возможностью проникновения сквозь туман плотные облака и ледяные слои.

Вы уж определитесь как-нибудь.

Полная масса самого спутника 5850 кг (https://forum.novosti-kosmonavtiki.ru/index.php?msg=2773275). 6.5 тонн (или 6.1 тонн) это включая LVA, который остался на верхней ступени LVM3. О массе вместе с LVM сообщалось только в индийских источниках.

Не имеет. У этого конкретного спутника, т.е. FM1 или первого из новой серии BlueBird Block 2 площадь АФАР 199 м².

Хватит уже всякие мусорные Telegram каналы постить, да ещё и с картинкой на всю страницу, авторы которых плохо понимают прочитанное, да ещё разбавляют перевод дикой отсебятиной.

Отчего вдруг США? Это спутник на LEO. Он то из США виден, а то не из США.  У AST соглашение с Vodafone в Европе, Индии, Турции и каких-то африканских странах. Rakuten в Японии. Не MoU, а контракты с предоплатой за будущий сервис.

Работать "для пользователей" он наверное будет. Но когда будет соответствующая лицензия и достаточное число спутников чтобы пользователям был в них прок.

30 декабря AST отправили в FCC извещение об успешном запуске и работоспособности спутника (LEOP - launch and early orbit phase operations). И с тех пор тишина.
