新华社酒泉9月27日电（李国利、王晨宇）9月27日3时28分，我国在酒泉卫星发射中心使用长征四号丙运载火箭，成功将风云三号08星发射升空，卫星顺利进入预定轨道，发射任务获得圆满成功。
Xinhua News Agency, Jiuquan, September 27 (Li Guoli, Wang Chenyu) – At 3:28 AM on September 27, our country successfully launched the Fengyun-3 Satellite No. 08 from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center using a Long March 4B carrier rocket. The satellite entered its planned orbit smoothly, marking a complete success.
这次任务是长征系列运载火箭的第596次飞行。
This mission marked the 596th flight of the Long March carrier rocket series.

China has a big fleet of weather satellites, and the FY-3 series of polar orbit satellites has provide for years an alternative weather data source from close to Earth to the joint @NOAASatellites JPSS-@eumetsat MetOp series.
FY-3H will replace -3D launched almost 8 years ago.

FY-3H is the 8th satellite from China's 2nd generation LEO weather satellite series since -3A launched in May 2008. At least 2 more (-3I and -3J) are coming up as early as next year.

Цзюцюань, 27 сентября /Синьхуа/ -- Китай успешно запустил в космос спутник "Фэнъюнь-3 08" с космодрома Цзюцюань на северо-западе Китая в субботу.

Спутник "Фэнъюнь-3 08" был запущен с помощью ракеты-носителя "Чанчжэн-4В" /Long March-4C/ в 3:28 утра по пекинскому времени и успешно вышел на запланированную орбиту.

Спутник, оборудованный девятью приборами дистанционного зондирования, включая спектрометр изображений среднего разрешения и микроволновый тепловизор, будет в первую очередь предназначен для мониторинга и исследовательской деятельности в сферах прогнозирования погоды, атмосферной химии и изменения климата, согласно данным Китайского национального космического управления /CNSA/.

Для ракет-носителей серии "Чанчжэн" /"Великий поход"/ этот запуск стал 596-м по счету.

A Long March-4C launch vehicle launched the FengYun-3H meteorological satellite from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, Gansu Province, China, on 26 September 2025, at 19:29 UTC (27 September, 03:28 local time). According to official sources, FengYun-3H (FY-3H, 风云三号H星, 风云三号08星）was successfully placed into a Sun-synchronous orbit, replacing FengYun-3D. The satellite is equipped with nine remote sensing payloads, including a medium-resolution spectral imager and a microwave imager, and "will primarily support monitoring and research activities in weather forecasting, atmospheric chemistry and climate change".

China's new FY3-08 weather sat cataloged in a 798 x 814 km x 98.6 deg sun-sync orbit with 01:41 local time descending node. CZ-4C third stage made a perigee lowering disposal burn at 2000 UTC to 631 x 802 km.

Ещё 29 сентября поднял орбиту на 4 км.
С тех пор обновлений параметров не было.

Уже 10 октября найден на новой круговой (почти) орбите
