Mission Name: Symphony In The Stars
Rocket: Electron
Launch Date: NET June 20, 2025
Launch Site: Launch Complex 1
Launch Time: NET 07:15 UTC
Payload: 1x satellite
Mission Overview
'Symphony In The Stars' is the first of two dedicated missions on Electron to deploy a single spacecraft to a 650km circular Earth orbit for a confidential commercial customer.
A second dedicated launch on Electron to meet those same mission requirements is scheduled for launch before the end of 2025.
These dedicated Electron launches demonstrate both the strength of Rocket Lab's responsive launch capabilities and its increasing launch cadence as the global leader in dedicated small launch. With demand for 20+ launches in 2025 and 100% mission success for all Electron launches this year, Electron is continually sought after by satellite operators across commercial, civil, and government missions, and remains on track for another record year of launches from Rocket Lab's Launch Complex 1 and Launch Complex 2 orbital launch sites in Mahia, New Zealand and Wallops Island, Virginia.

EchoStar Perfects Highest ITU Priority for Worldwide 2 GHz NGSO Rights (https://ir.echostar.com/news-releases/news-release-details/echostar-perfects-highest-itu-priority-worldwide-2-ghz-ngso)
EchoStar's subsidiary, EchoStar Global Australia, achieved this by successfully completing the Bringing Back Into Use (BBIU) process for the company's International Telecommunications Union (ITU) SIRION-1 satellite filing as of October 1, 2025.
Completing the BBIU process means all other operators in overlapping frequencies must coordinate with EchoStar under SIRION-1.
EchoStar Global Australia initiated the 90-day BBIU period by successfully launching the Lyra-4 satellite on June 28, 2025, and bringing it to its intended orbit. The satellite operated at its 650 km altitude for the entire BBIU period from July 3 to October 1, 2025.
The Lyra-4 satellite is one of a series of NGSO satellites that have been launched as part of EchoStar Global Australia's Lyra Constellation.
