TROPICS Flight 2
The Time-Resolved Observations of Precipitation structure and storm Intensity with a Constellation of Smallsats (TROPICS) mission will provide rapid-refresh microwave measurements over the tropics that can be used to observe the thermodynamics of the troposphere and precipitation structure for storm systems at the mesoscale and synoptic scale over the entire storm lifecycle. TROPICS comprises a constellation of CubeSats in three low-Earth orbital planes. Each CubeSat will host a high-performance radiometer scanning across the satellite track at 30 RPM to provide temperature profiles using seven channels near the 118.75 GHz oxygen absorption line, water vapor profiles using 3 channels near the 183 GHz water vapor absorption line, imagery in a single channel near 90 GHz for precipitation measurements, and a single channel at 206 GHz for cloud ice measurements.

Electron's second stage engine has shut down as planned and the Kick Stage with the @NASA TROPICS satellites has separated for ahead of payload deployment within the next 30 minutes.

The Kick Stage's Curie engine is scheduled to have completed its final burn & deployed the TROPICS satellites now. As this takes place outside of ground station coverage, we expect to receive signal and get confirmation of payload deployment within the next ~20 mins

В принципе 43 градуса широты тоже неплохо, но 270 метров высоты это же ни в какие ворота - астроклимат ужасный. Вот 2700 - это бы было да! :)
Поглядел. 2700 поблизости нету. Но полтора километра то есть! :)
Но я всё равно рад что у вас там есть. А там оно в скольки градусах над горизонтом будет?

Существует ещё такая неприятная штука, как ветровая нагрузка. На Памире (4К метров) есть российская научная обсерватория, там расскажут.

TLEs now out for the TROPICS launch confirming another successful flight for Electron. The second stage reached a 538 x 562 km x 35 deg orbit, and the third stage managed a modest inclination reduction putting the two payloads in a 535 x 553 km x 32.7 deg orbit.

Теперь понятно, спасибо. Махиа же на 39-й широте; на активном участке отыграли четыре градуса, и ещё три - блоком довыведения. Жизнь маленьких ракет :)
