YANTAI, Oct. 7 (Xinhua) -- China successfully launched two test satellites from a launch platform in the Yellow Sea on Friday.
The CentiSpace-S5/S6 test satellites with LEO satellite navigation enhancement system were lifted off by a Long March-11 carrier rocket at 09:10 p.m. (Beijing Time) and they have entered the planned orbit successfully.
The satellites will be used to monitor the performance of the global navigation satellite system in real time, and carry out navigation augmentation and intersatellite laser communication tests.
It was the 441st flight mission of the Long March series rockets.

There was a big crowd at Haiyang beaching viewing the Long March 11 sea launch. Audio from the launch command was very clear and it says the liftoff happened at ~13:10:28.920 UTC

Blast Off! China launches the Weili Kongjian-1 S5 & S6 LEO navigation enhancement satellites with a Long March 11, lifting off at 1310 UTC from a mobile sea launch platform in the Yellow Sea.
The 2nd sea launch of Long March 11 in 2022! CZ11 successfully launched Centispace-S5 & S6 LEO navigation satellites from a platform off the shore of Haiyang, Shandong.
This sea launch was just ~3km from the beach. That means less sea sailing and reduced supportive needs. According to CASC, two more #CZ11 launches planned this year, not necessarily sea launch.
This was 43rd Chinese orbital launch of the year and the 441st flight mission of the Long March rocket series. This is 3rd sea launch of #CZ11 & for the 1st time the rocket was assembled, tested and transported from the CALT rocket base in Haiyang.
The new facilities built in Haiyang cut ~/3 of the launch preparation time, will help achieve more frequent launches. CZ11 is planned to have 5-8 launches in total this year, including one more sea launch.

Экспериментальные спутники CentiSpace-S5/S6, оснащенные системой усиления спутниковой навигации LEO, стартовали в 21:10 по пекинскому времени с помощью ракеты-носителя "Чанчжэн-11" /"Великий поход-11"/, после чего успешно вышли на заданную орбиту.
Спутники будут использоваться для отслеживания состояния работы глобальной системы навигационных спутников в режиме реального времени. Кроме того, они протестируют возможность увеличения точности сигнала навигационной инфраструктуры и проведут испытания лазерной связи между спутниками.
Данный запуск стал 441-м по счету для ракет-носителей серии "Чанчжэн".

A Long March-11 launch vehicle launched the CentiSpace-1 S5/S6 satellites, from a sea-based platform in the Yellow Sea, on 7 October 2022, at 13:10 UTC (21:10 local time). According to official sources, the CentiSpace-1 S5/S6 test satellites (微厘空间 S5/S6, Weili-1 05/06, Kongjian Shiyan) have entered their planned orbits and "will be used to monitor the performance of the global navigation satellite system in real time, and carry out navigation augmentation and inter-satellite laser communication tests".

On 7 October 2022, at 13:10 UTC (21:10 local time), a Long March-11 launch vehicle was launched from a sea platform only three kilometres away from the shore. According to the designers of the launch vehicle, Long March-11 can now be regularly launched from the sea.
