Пекин, 1 апреля /Синьхуа/ -- Китай готов произвести запуск спутника связи "Palapa-N1" для Индонезии с космодрома Сичан провинции Сычуань /Юго-Западный Китай/.
Разработка этого спутника предусмотрена в контракте, заключенном в мае 2017 года компанией China Great Wall Industry Corp. при Китайской корпорации аэрокосмической науки и технологий и индонезийской компанией Palapa Satelit Nusantara Sejahtera.
Спутник "Palapa-N1" был создан на модернизированной платформе для создания спутника связи "Дунфанхун-4" при Китайской академии космических технологий, он будет выведен на орбиту ракетой-носителем "Чанчжэн-3Б", созданной Китайской академией технологий ракет-носителей.
Данный спутник будет использоваться для предоставления телекоммуникационных и радиовещательных услуг Индонезии и другим странам и регионам, участвующим в реализации инициативы "Пояс и путь".
Команда разработчиков спутника полна решимости к осуществлению проекта по графику, несмотря на продолжающуюся ситуацию с пандемией коронавируса.

Вместе с этим, в Китае благополучно продвигается и ряд других космических проектов. В частности, экспериментальный прототип пилотируемого космического корабля нового поколения уже прошел тестирование на космодроме Вэньчан в южнокитайской провинции Хайнань, он будет запущен без экипажа на борту в середине или конце апреля с помощью ракеты-носителя "Чанчжэн-5Б", для которой предстоящий полет также станет первым.

Satellite communication provider PT Pasifik Satelit Nusantara (PSN), in cooperation with telecommunication service provider PT Indosat Ooredoo and another telecommunication company, PT Pintar Nusantara Sejahtera (PNS), plans to launch a newly built satellite from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China's Sichuan province later this month.

The Nusantara Dua satellite, built by China Great Wall Industry Corporation, would replace the Palapa-D satellite to serve broadband internet access and high-quality broadcasting services, PSN said in a statement on Thursday.

"We hope Nusantara Dua will further strengthen the position of the PSN business group as a major and leading player in the Indonesian satellite industry," PSN president director Adi Rahman said in the statement.

PSN, Indosat Ooredoo and PNS established a joint venture called PT Palapa Satelit Nusa Sejahtera (PSNS) in 2017 to buy the satellite from the Chinese satellite maker. PSNS will operate the new satellite.

"The Nusantara Dua satellite program is our long-term program, and it is a form of the company's commitment to customers throughout Indonesia," PSNS president director Johanes Indri Prijatmodjo said.

Johanes said the Nusantara Dua satellite would replace Indosat Ooredoo's Palapa-D satellite located at 113 East Longitude (BT).

The Nusantara Dua, which weighs 5,550 kilograms, will have a capacity of 20x36 MHz C-band FSS transponders and 9.5 gigabit-per-second (Gbps) HTS. The satellite can cover regions throughout Asia Pacific and to Australia for C-band transponders and throughout Indonesia for HTS.

Meanwhile, the chief business officer of Indosat Ooredoo, Bayu Hanantasena, said, "We are committed to continuing to provide the best telecommunication services for business customers."

In line with Indosat Ooredoo's three-year strategy to make business-to-business services a new growth engine, the Nusantara Dua would further expand Indosat Ooredoo's business portfolio, he added.

According to Johanes, the satellite with a lifetime of up to 15 years has the same technology as its predecessor, the Nusantara Satu, which carries the Classic Fixed Satellite Service in Cband and HTS in Ku-band. "With that, satellites are more efficient while still adding value to link reliability. This satellite can also be used for VSAT, broadcast, broadband, backbone, and backhaul, Johannes said.

"We hope the launch will go smoothly, so that it is estimated that in June 2020, it will be ready to serve the community," Johanes said.

Может, и "фейки". Но исходя из опыта предыдущих пусков на ГПО по циклограмме вывведение КА на орбиту занимает примерно 1526 ±ед. сек, т.е. около 25.5 мин, примерно через минут 10 после этого появлялись победные реляции... Официальное молчание больше часа - плохой знак  :(

XICHANG, April 9 (Xinhua) -- China's launch mission on the Long March-3B carrier rocket carrying a communication satellite of Indonesia, Palapa-N1, suffered a failure Thursday.

The rocket blasted off at 7:46 p.m. Beijing Time from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China's Sichuan Province.

The rocket worked in normal conditions in the first-stage and second-stage. And abnormal conditions happened in the third-stage.

Debris of the third-stage rocket and satellite had fallen, and the launch mission suffered a failure, according to the monitoring data.

Investigations into the malfunction and following up works are underway.

Сичан, 10 апреля /Синьхуа/ -- Миссия по запуску индонезийского спутника связи Palapa-N1 с помощью китайской ракеты-носителя "Чанчжэн-3B" в четверг потерпела неудачу.

Запуск был произведен в 19:46 того же дня с космодрома Сичан в провинции Сычуань на юго-западе страны.

После начала запуска работа первой и второй ступеней ракеты была нормальной, а в работе третьей ступени ракеты-носителя произошла неисправность.

Измерительные данные показали, что обломки третьей ступени ракеты и спутника упали. Таким образом, запуск спутника потерпел неудачу.

Причины случившегося уточняются, а также ведутся последующие работы.

China's space sector has recently encountered rarely-seen setbacks twice within a month—firstly, the maiden flight of the newly developed variant of the Long March-7 carrier rocket, known as the Long March-7A on March 16 and the launch of the veteran Long March-3B carrying an Indonesian commercial satellite on April 9.

An insider with the state carrier rocket developer approached by the Global Times said on the condition of anonymity that a probe into the two failures was underway, and the errors causing the failures have not been located as of yet, and therefore it has not yielded any conclusions.

The rumours were that the causes of both the Long March 7A (March) and 3B were rocket structure/production issues, and could be swiftly dealt with.

Apparently the reasons of failure for 2 recent Long March rockets flights - not yet known till now - have turned up in a tender for insurance of the future launch of ZY-3-03!

The 2 involved are Long March 4C/YG-33 on May 22 last year and Long March 3B/PALAPA-N1 this April 9.

The failure reason for the April LM-3B was not explicitly mentioned, but it's apparently due to stage separation retro-fire rocket ignitor failure (must have been during 2nd-3rd stage separation per official reports). Ignitors were re-checked & doubled in number on other rockets.

I expect the LM-3B one to be confirmed by the Indonesian customer or their insurers later. One would also wonder if this also caused the LM-7A failure in March since people seems to be thinking of stage separation problems. (https://img.novosti-kosmonavtiki.ru/125184.svg)
