На 9ifly спекулируют по поводу того, что это может быть аппарат с самым высоким разрешением среди китайских оптических ДЗЗ, даже сравнивают с американскими Key Hole (KH-11).
На форуме nsf заметили, что нотамовские зоны схожи с заявлявшимися при запуске Shiyan-5 в ноябре 2013 г.
КН-11 на CZ-2D это перебор.

China continued its recent rapid rate of space missions with the launch of a land survey satellite on Sunday from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre in the Gobi Desert.
A Long March 2D rocket lifted off from Jiuquan at 04:11 UTC, or just after noon local time.Спойлер
State media confirmed (http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2017-12/03/c_136796994.htm)success of the launch under an hour later, disclosing the mission payload to be Land Survey Satellite-1, which will be mainly used for 'remote sensing exploration of land resources', with no further details offered.
The satellite was developed by the China Academy of Space Technology (CAST), which researches, development, and manufactures satellites and spacecraft and is a subsidiary of the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), the main contractor for the Chinese space programme.
The Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology (SAST), another CASC owned entity, developed the Long March 2D launch vehicle.
Launch pressure after failures
Sunday's launch was the 15th for China in 2017, and the seventh since late October. CASC, which is responsible for both government and international contracts and also a share of domestic commercial launches, is working to ease the pressure off a large, backed-up launch schedule.

China's overall record for Long March rocket launches now stands at 257, with the first taking place on April 24, 1970. Of these, 243 have been successful, with eight failures and six partial failures, bringing a success rate of 94.5 percent.
