Vovan,
Concerning details on the N1 Block A: We see in the top 2 photos what appear to be ribs of an irregular pattern, while the bottom two show this area to be smooth.

I was told a few years ago that this was just condensation patterns particular to this area, but I'm not sure myself. I know on later flights there where very prominent ribs, but what was the actual appearance of this area on the first launched N1 Rocket?
Respectfully,
David L. Rickman
Here is a detail of this area so that shadows aren't mistaken for structures:

If you follow the darker vertical lines you can see that they are shadows cast from multiple light sources against the tension bars and follow the contour of the Block.

Не только первая Н1 с такими полосами.

Yes, I see. Thank you. But, the first N1 seems to have had an irregular "pattern" to these ridges. Do you have any image which shows the actual appearance of this area on the first launched N1 so that I can understand its true appearance?
Thanks again,
David l. Rickman

It is possible we may still figure it out. Alexander Shlyadinskiy (to whom I owe a great apology  :( ) had shown me a pattern a few years ago, which I rejected due to stubbornness and a lack of supporting imagery. Mostly stubbornness.
The challenge now is to determine the details of these supporting ridges. The reason I am so picky is that I have an ongoing contract with TsNIIMash Export to create a 1/100 scale model of the N1 for their Museum. After seeing so many of your photographs, such as the inspiring images of the six inner Block A engine supports found on http://cosmopark.ru/n1/n1-4.htm I sincerely believe that this can be accomplished with sufficient accuracy in 1/50. I originally chose the first launched N1, but I am considering an earlier version ( circa 1968 Block A / with the LK and LOK ) if I'm not able to find sufficient information on the L3. But, I haven't given up yet!
Here is another image detail which shows a pattern of short ridges:

I wonder what it would look like if this pattern was lengthened to extend and taper off at the connection to the access panels support plates? Hmmm, I have a little PhotoShopping to do.
As always ...
Thank you for your input!Sincerely,
David L. Rickman
